Very useful for a non Italian. Thank you. I am learning this song and I am Chinese.
Thank you very much. I am studying Italian by myself. I did not know the rule to follow. It was very clear explanation to understand.
I just start to study Italian. I love the sound first and movie, music, opera, literature, and the beautiful country. I wish I can visit Italy someday.
Super helpful
For some reasons I mastered the "rolling r" for the first time thanks to your slow motions :-) Grazie! (Grrrazie!)
well done!👍
Grazie.
Is it piffari or pifferi? Is there any difference between those two?
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piffero
My native language is Russian, I thought we have pretty similar a, o and i, but I don't exactly understand what does it mean open and closed o and other vowels? Do you have any link to read/listen about it more?
Closed e is like the e in детй without the ye just the vowel sound. Closed o is like the o in всё without the yo just the o vowel. Open o is like the o in что. Open e is like the e in здесь. But longer and no short sign.
@@JohnMario thank you for the answer, but tbh i see no difference between е in words здесь и дети. May be you meant a vowel like э in это?
@@skibaa1 if I may use an English example, closed e is similar to a in face, but without glide. Open e is closer to vowel in English word head. Again without the glide and this is just approximate.

Please let me know how to sound out the word tre I would like to know if the T sound like a T or a D. Thank you.
Lili, I will make a short video on it today.
Thank you sir, I will sing this song for my teacher next week. I just took my 1st singing class last week and my teacher told me I need to learn a song called Nina. would prefer to learn Italian from Italians.
OK Lili, just one caveat...I am American, not Italian and am not trying to pass myself off as Italian. I have made Italian lyric diction and the teaching of it to non-Italians my lifelong study though and spent over 20 years in NYC as an Italian opera coach.
