Hey Suzanne, What a wonderful tutorial. Your pattern drafting always makes me want to go back to sewing! LOL Such a gorgeous dress on you and looking forward to Friday's video. I was away (I know, I know, again?) and just getting to watch today. Always an inspiration for my own work, even though it's not sewing at the present. More embroidery and jewelry videos to film today for me and I'm going to expand to some crafts with macrame thrown in the mix. Take care and see you on Friday. Big Hugs
Hi Eva, thanks so much 💕👍💕living life to fullest Eva, love that 👌👌👌sounds like you have a pretty full filming schedule, you've picked a fab time to expand especially with macrame, I've seen so many macrame bags, belts, necklaces in shops recently, it must be what some would say "on trend" not that that matters, as it looks like a beautifully creative craft with all the different designs 👌👌👌 good luck with it and your "mix" and have a wonderful, wonderful week💕💕💕💕💕
😍😍😍 Oh, Susanne, you really are a GENIUS! I don't know how you work these things out?! I will miss your videos next month while I'm without internet, but I'll be able to 'binge watch' you when I return! As always, you floor me with your ingenuity. Have a wonderful weekend! 👍❤😘
Lots and lots and lots of trial and error 😍😍😍 you’re very kind Hazel, thank you and back at you on the weekend💕 Enjoy the binge watch when you back online💕💕💕
Fascinating! I have not purchased a twist front / neck pattern because I feel it would be too complicated, so I am really looking forward to watching the actual make. Thank you for showing us how you create the pattern. Kind regards from Penny 😊💕
This was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I’m making a vintage inspired twist neck dress for this summer. Your detailed instructions were spot on.
This dress is so beautiful and it looks soooooo fantastic on you. I want to gush more......the details, neckline, buttons & cuff. It is also my most favorite color! That helps, but I think I would like this in any color. I always enjoy your work of drafting or changing your patterns. You are so out of my league!!!!!! Thanks so much for another great video! God Bless. I came back- Susanne, I read above that you said you're an amateur in pattern making. I don't believe it! Whenever I see your videos I say "My Pro" has a video I have to watch Susanne right now!! Would you consider telling us your story? How long you have been sewing, how you started, who taught you, when/how drafting started, anything you can think of and your story starting on youtube. Thanks again!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video K👍👍👍 you’re very kind to say that, I’m soaking up all these techniques like a sponge👌👌👌I have a video where I talk a little bit about my sewing background already ruclips.net/video/xnGwxVzqwJc/видео.html although it’s over a year old now, I should bring it up to date🤔🤔🤔thanks again K and have a fab weekend 💕💕💕
@@SewCustom Susanne, thanks so much for your reply, I will look at your video right now! Thanks again & God Bless./ I watched the video, it is full of wonderful resources! It is hard to believe you have not been sewing all your life! It is clear you have natural talent which comes from your deep desire for "soaking up" & improving your skills. Thank you for sharing your talents through your journey. It has been a joy to watch you hone your skills! Take care from San Diego, CA.
Found this video right in the middle of making a knot shirt. I had just enough fabfic for this faboulos cuffs. What a great idea. The buttons are lovely and I really like your back neck. I'll use this on the next shirt. I do love your videos!
Hi Suzanna Anna-Marie here. I find this design very interesting. But I don't understand the extra piece on the front. I understand the slash and spread method but not the extended piece on the front. Where does it go? Is it to make the twist knot? I don't know.
It may make a bit more sense if you’ve watched my April makes video, ruclips.net/video/tflPidy4JtM/видео.html I talk about this design a little bit there. If not the “making of” this one will, all being well, be live on my channel on Friday👍
Hi its very nice to teach how to make patterns for dresses that you make
