REVOLUTIONAL study tuber This is an extremely important message, as from many of those 12 hour study wth mes and other similar videos, your self esteem and the feeling that you are doing enough can go rapidly down, speaking from own experience. Those videos portrait an unhealthy lifestyle, impossible to be maintained for a longer periods of time, however people still fall for it. Thank you so so much for talking about it❤ Have a very Merry Christmas❤🎄
❤️❤️❤️ thank you SO much tina, I'm really glad that I could maybe help with the problem in a small way, as it's something that's really upset me for a while - and thank you!! I hope you also have a wonderful christmas 💕
while I remember: am going to be filming a chatty get-to-know-me style Q&A for one of these videos - if you want to send questions that will be over on my instagram (@alicejanelake) 😊
As I don't have instagram, I'm glad for this opportunity, my question is kind of connected with Wilhelmina's first question - which physics field do you want to go in? What are the things, topics,... that you want to work with?
Thank you very much, exactly what I needed today! I always feel like I'm not studying enough but then I often end up messing up my sleep regime and cutting out activities I care about that I'd normally do... and both of them in majority of cases aren't worth it.
thanks freya, I'm glad I could help a bit!! ❤️ ahhh no that doesn't sound fun at all 😢 I hope you manage to find a good balance soon (I know it's not that easy) x
Thanks for the video! Really needed this since the Christmas holidays have just started but I’ve spent the past few days watching RUclips and TV programmes. I have 2 dissertations, 1 paper review and some lecture notes to make but I’ve made a plan so wish me luck! 😁
Physics degrees are so bad for burn out, I've burned out multiple times this semester (to be fair it's 14 weeks long) because I take a day off every 2/3 weeks which obviously isn't healthy :/ thanks for being real on the internet, totally agree that you don't have to be productive all the time! Ps we met at Lancaster doing internships in 2018 not sure if you remember me!
When you don't have any hobbies outside of Uni work (and trust me, I've tried getting into hobbies), there is nothing more certain than the onslaught of burnout. Oh well.
oh no! 😢😢 what about just making time to chill and watch youtube, or hanging out with friends, or read a book, or something like that - doesn't need to be something structured? hope you're looking after yourself x
@@alicedoesphysics I watch a lot of RUclips, but unfortunately when the task manager starts overflowing, it has to be shut down. I go through a periodic cycle of no work, high productivity and burnout at least three times a semester. It's a good system /s

I wish I took this advice this last semester.
Is this the physics meme himself Andrew? Wow my favorite two physics RUclipsrs in the same place that's something... when's the next meme review (?)
hopefully next semester...? 😬🤞 hope you're looking after yourself anyway! x
@@argentinephenomenologist Wow a meme review is a great idea for a new series
@@alicedoesphysics Next semester should be much better comparatively!
