The more people with you when performing this, the more epic the experience becomes. I will March with my service brothers(Army, USMC, Navy, CG, or AF) and yell this with them, any time they want.

My son left last year to join the Marines. Graduated December 1st and came home for 10 days. That was the last time we saw him in person. SEMPER FI!!!!

India's army helped liberate the country of Bangladesh in '71, had they not, the rest of the country would have seen a huge influx of refugees. I'm glad that the army steps in to keep the border safe and the country's demographics secure.

The military is one of the last places in the western world where things like this cadence are still passed, from one generation to the next, without ever being written down. I can sing this and many others word for word even though I’ve never seen them in writing. I learned them from my Drill Sergeant, who learned it from hers, who learned it from his.
Writing is the only way to preserve things to future generations.

My uncle was in the army he survived thankfully and I’m glad he’s alive but to the soldiers who passed.. I bow my head in respect,they knew they had a slim chance of surviving and I’m grateful for the brave souls in the army currently and the past souls who are gone or here

Ex-Cadet of Camden Military, I only went for 1 year, yet I memorized most of these cadences. These were some of the few things Bravo Company looked forward to. Some of the things I will miss. Semper Fi and Godspeed to all marines who died.

My 2 brothers knew that song when I was at my younger brother’s graduation. I was at Missouri for my brother’s military graduation and I heard this song and it was from my brother and his soldiers.
