Holla,Aficianados!!! i always like St.Dupont and after watching your video i decided to bye it and i ordered it. 138 euros!( including shipping to my country,Azerbaijan) Thank you!
I have been considering getting this cutter for quite some time, but like you, I only really want it for the V cut. I think the deciding factor would be the sharpness and width/depth of cut and the longevity of the product. For example, I believe Colibri has the best V cut on the market due to its depth of cut. I used to use the single V but switched to the S-V when my single started getting clogged and the spring mechanism started to fail. I have also lost screws from a single V. My point is, perhaps you can do a video test between the best V cutters on the market, taking into account all that I have mentioned. Great videos though, keep it up!
Thank you, I already have several cutters (including vintage ones) so, one more is not a problem. Depending of which cigar I will smoke, I use V or S cut. So this one is preety good for the job and to face any situation. Aalso more easy to keep in a pocket than the Colibri V-S cut which is more massive. By the way, did you have in mind to review the other new stuff from S.T. Dupont: the Guillotine Cigar Cutter and Stand?
So, I wanted to buy this Chrome Double Blade Cigar Cutter from S.T. DuPont, which in the U.K. is £180.00 directly from them, but I heard from certain, Cigar retailers that this very cutter only cuts up to 52 ring gauge and, as I like smoking, bigger ring, gauges often that, limits me with this, cutter to only, smoke, up to,52 ring gauge's, now currently I have a budget cutter which is the Vertigo By Lotus Big Boy Cigar Cutter which is made from plastic and stainless steel and cuts up to 64 ring gauge and I paid £6.99 for that one which is cheap, and it does the job just fine and makes an excellent cut, but I think because I can't get the S.T. DuPont Cigar Cutters at all I think I'm going to opt for the Colibri S Cut Brushed Metal Cigar Cutter - Black at £50.99 and the Colibri S.V. Cut Cigar Cutter - Black at £76.99 making it £52.02 cheaper than this S.T. DuPont Cigar Cutter thanks for the great video might look into their accessories in the future once they start supporting up to 60 or 64 ring gauge but for now I will be sticking to other brands such as Colibri or Xikar for that matter.
Looks very good, like his massive weight and size, definitively not a pocket version. (I’ld like to get a better sound quality in your video, lots of back noises)
Максим Логутов In case you haven’t found the answer elsewhere, you can’t use normal butane refills in jet flame lighters as impurities clog up the much smaller nozzle compared to soft flame lighters. You need at least 3x refined butane
Just one thing, in respect to the actual Dupont Cutter, you seem to be able to cut much larger cigars with this one. With the standard cutter, it seems you only can cut up to around 50 ringage. What do you think about that ? Cheers
Yep. Soon you’ll find the counterfeit cutters as a follow up. Standard operating procedure. just as they have done with the lighters. People never learn. You cheapen the brand

Great great video! Keep it up
Love the Chrome one Dirk. But shit I already have a V and a straight cutter. Hope to see it Saturday!!
👍...would love it in gold!
Yes that would’ve been great!
Quite Interesting...👍🏻

Do you use special gas for Dupont extreme? On normal, my Dupont does not work very well. is this the reason!?

Bought this, and slightly shocked to see ‘China’ on the clasp? Assumed it would be made in France

All the DuPont cutters and jet lighters are made in China
Please, one day could u buy a microfone I think will give a such better audio to the videos
can i buy dupont through u, i live in Australia?
hope you won't let anyone use your cutters.
How do you mean?
@@AtDutchcigars you lick your cigars before you cut them, and now your saliva is on the cutter, so I hope nobody else uses your cutter.
Oww like that hahaha well almost everyone does that before cutting the cigars. It’s the most safe way to do it.
You gotta get better with camera focus if you want to be a videographer bro, 90% of this video was out of focus
I was disappointed to see that the cutter was made in China
All cutters are made in china. It’s probably the best one you can get
