For our 1st episode we welcome Ethiopian Airlines, well known in our Cockpit series, featuring their brand new aircraft, the Airbus A350-900 XWB on the route from London Heathrow UK to Addis Ababa Ethiopia. You will see what to expect if you're doing this trip in Business Class from the airport lounge in London to the gate ini Addis.

I must say Ethiopian is one of the best out of Africa and certainly a world-class Airlines! I flew them for the first time last month from Brazil to Japan, I was not sure what to expect and a little bias on my part initially but I was awestruck by the quality of products they provided and the in-flight services experience was awesome. The crews are so passionate and they are willing to go extra miles to make sure their customers are comfortable.
I'd like thank JustPlanes for the quality of the videography and an amazing flight experience videos you posting on youtube...I'm a big fan!! Please keep more of the same coming. Thanks and Regards

I don't think any aircraft has sunlight protection in the cockpit u cant have tinted windows on the windscreen just like on a car its common sense but at least it wont crash like the Max 8 i can promise u that !!!

Very true. Thank you. We have a few more of these with Ethiopian coming.
The 737 MAX mishap was due the MCAS boeing hid from airlines. Airlines learned about the MCAS after two 737 MAX's crashed themselves.
I was lucky to use Ethiopian Airlines new A350 earlier this year from Nairobi to Addis. Fantastic craft

They are def a great airline. We've been filming them now for almost 10 years and its a pleasure each time our crew goes to Ethiopia!

Ya totally agree Rob, thats what we're going for. We booked our 2nd airline and are filming them in 10 days and also have a couple more Ethiopian flights to release.

Fantastic video...cockpit access and the take off roll ...brilliant! When you are filming the galley etc you realise just how hard the crew work to feed and water the passengers...they do a great job!! And then with the flight crew and hearing their backgrounds!! How good did that landing at night look!! Brilliant and more please....!!!

As an Ethiopian, I feel so proud we have a great African carrier that is very successful. And it breaks my heart to see that the government is selling off this highly profitable, lucrative and high growth company to international investors. This is a company that is the source of pride not just for me but for many Ethiopians and even Africans. Ethiopians look up to this company and draw inspiration from it when almost all other institutions in the country are in sad state of disrepair. I strongly believe the company should stay Ethiopian. If the government wants to cash out, thats reasonable but sell it to Ethiopians. If the government wants foreign currency then engage the huge Ethiopian diaspora community who will gladly scoop up shares in the company. This will help preserve the company’s Ethiopian soul.

Great Video. But in the Name of Safety, Newspaper at the Windows for Sunblocking ? The First Officer has no View to the outside, no Visual Detcting of other Planes is possible. i hope, he gets no Troubble, when Officials see this Sequence of the Vid.

Great marketing .. just the markering.... putting ethiopian airlines with airbus... building the trust "psychological " measure for passengers still thinking about Boeing's issues.
At 9.57, I thought business/firat class meals made differently and served fresher than economy.
