- We knew many months ago that Vicky Phelan wanted us to perform at her memorial service. We had always hoped that day would not come so soon. So it was with heavy hearts that we met last Sunday for a very important rehearsal in school. It was our first time performing with the full choir in three years. Our young people travelled from Limerick and Dublin to pay their respects.
Little did we know it would be the best performance we ever gave. Odudu's rap and the choir's singing brought people to their feet and the love for Vicky in a church in Mooncoin was clear for everyone to see. Thank you to Vicky's family and friends for a wonderful welcome and for giving us the chance to honour Vicky. There will never be a prouder performance for us.
