We need the /6s back on the mainline!!! From what I've seen of them ,they are the quickest 100mph electrpstars on third rail
Well they can’t be the quickest if all 377s tops speeds are 100mph 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@louis945 no I mean on third rail specifically, the 377/6s and 7s they have the better maintained acceleration they aren't the same type of train as the older 377s. That's what I mean by quick. They are faster to 60mph and beyond. When the drivers use their max acceleration from start they hit 30mph really fast. And this is only their DC acceleration. 387s take 100years to get to speed sometimes on third rail (because 387s are heavy as heck) . Older 377s also (but the 377/6 and 7 are basically lighter 387s since they all have more refined traction and technology etc)
Great video
Thanks!
good video
Thanks
''Class 375 and 377 electrostar are the best trains ever in England''!
Really? Why?
@@thetransporthub i agree alexander because they are very reliable, fast and smooth
What's the difference between a 377 and a 387?
377s are older, formed of 3, 4 or 5 coaches, some have plugs (5car only) and operated by Southern and Thameslink
387s are newer, formed of 4 coaches, all have plugs and operated by Thameslink, Gatwick Express, GWR (future) and c2c (future)
but apart form that not much!
+thetransporthub: Sorry, forgive my ignorance, when you say plugs, do you mean 3 pin plugs at each seat for passengers to plug in laptops, etc?
I do yes
+thetransporthub: Many thanks, understood. By the way, spent the afternoon at Eastleigh Station today - well worth it if you haven't done it before. Lots of different traction going though there! Will upload some videos later.
+UKWMO Eastleigh is a great spot I did it a few times when I was down in Portsmouth, the is also a great model shop in Eastleigh called AC models
so trains divide at Haywards Heath and head for Littlehampton ect
Weekdays and Saturdays the 1Fxxx and 1Hxx split for Hastings/Eastbourne/Ore and Littlehampton
Sundays the 1Hxx split at Worthing for Littlehampton and Portsmouth Harbour
How come some off these trains don't stop at Haywards Heath?
+Stagecoach LondonRBLX they are express services
What about services from Littlehamption to London Bridge?
+Stagecoach LondonRBLX they stop here
How come they don't stop at Gatwick Airport? Gatwick Express don't stop at any stations apart from Gatwick Airport and Brighton, that's what I don't get, how come they pass Gatwick?
Cartoon Man Bruh Btw some GX services sometimes come at Haywards Heath but it’s kind of rare
