#30 Father Vassilios Georgopoulos - Heresy throughout the centuries

[With subtitles]In this interview, I speak with Father Vassilios Georgopoulos about Heresy and Orthodoxy. Father is an Associate Professor at the School of Theology in Thessaloniki and teaches for example the classes "Orthodoxy and heresy: from ancient to contemporary heresies", "the Christological dogma during the 5th century", "the Holy Spirit in the Orthodox tradition in comparison to the tradition of the West" and more. Since 2001 he has been a Research Fellow of different committees of the Holy Synod of Greece for the study of heresies and other relatable areas. The interview is in Greek but has English subtitles thanks to Father Zosimas, to whom I am very grateful for taking the time and energy to translate this interview.

Hi! I have mostly read books about this topic in Greek but there are many books in English in dogmatic theology you can find that sort of go through heresies but gives the Orthodox view. Maybe “Byzantine Theology: Historical Trends and Doctrinal Themes” would interest you? Florovsky has also written about the faith through history that you can look up
