After the A95L, I’m not buying another TV for at least 5 years. Or when you drop a video where you say that the A95L is not even close. I trust your opinion because to me, you are of the people and for the people type of guy. And hope you have a good day.
You definitely don't need a new tv, as you have a great one . TV upgrades are for people like me still on a 2017 LG C7. 😂

I upgraded few months ago, and just checking up every once in a while on reviews and videos out of curiosity 👍
A95L is a beast. No reason to upgrade unless youre a gamer
From what you seen from the G4, would you say it is better than the A95L in watching movies and shows?
The lg g4 55" went down by $300aud five days ago onwards on the lg official website (and therefore all the retailers). Lg realising they need to be more realistic about the price, good to see. Cos no one was going to pay over $4,000 for a 55" lg tv

Returning s95d. Get my g4 tomorrow. Cant wait. After spending time with the s95d..its just not for me. It feels blurry. My CX seems to handle streaming better. I really wanted a gen 3 qd oled, but i really dont agree with some of samsungs decisions this year.
But anyway, i feel you man. I debated starting a youtube and sharing my life because i have a pretty ridiculous setup with lots of turnover. I enjoy diying many things, but displays and pc's are like an art form to me. Ive only sold a couple pcs. Like you, i just had enough extra parts around. But im ordering optimus water blocks in raw brass so i can have them finished/plated however i like. Working on them, and enjoying the systems, is what brings me joy.
Its not cheap!
My suggestion and not that you’re asking, never ever buy into a company that you do not like.
Also S95D as a main set is for a very select people.
If you’re not buying it as a specifics gaming panel like I did in a smaller size, I wouldn’t recommend it for majority of the folk like us on RUclips.

Max Luv. Ralph Lauren is a lifestyle for me. Can get pricey though, an outfit from purple label, which is one of their divisions can cost more than a 77” A95L. Haha crazy but thank you!
Tech is my big vice too. I quit drinking seven years ago for health reasons. I bought a calibration software, meters, and pattern generator. Since 2019 I’ve had a TCL R615, Samsung Q80R, Sony A1E, LG CX, Sony A80J, A90J, Samsung S95B, and now a 77 S89C. I feel ya. I’m going to sit tight with the S89C this year. If 77G4 or 77A95L drop enough later this year, I may be tempted.
Damn that’s motivation. Smoking was it for me, 18 months cold turkey now.
The G4 looks like the real deal. I do love my qn95c though...I love that full svreen gaming brightness!!
I feel you I have my vices; fashion (sneakers, high-end street23-4, and high-end designer), Technology from TVs down to just gadgets, and I don’t do it as consistently like I used to since the pandemic but partying. And then also I just developed another hobby in sports gambling for a few years now. People in general don’t understand it because they’re either a minimalist, cheap, not able to do it themselves

Recent scientific reports say that colds are now more severe and dragged out than pre-covid. I got sick as well all through February and March. I’m still mildly coughing out the last residuals. This was a bad cold that I couldn’t shake off.
No covid or influenza. Just a stubborn upper respiratory infection/cold. If you ever had Covid, then it left the immune system very vulnerable to these new strain colds.

I primarily watch soccer and a little gaming (mainly fifa) which one should I get and should I worry about burn in since it’s mostly static things (soccer pitch , channel logo, score bar etc..)

What's the brightest OLED monitor for HDR or sitting so close does it matter
Thanks for the video. I have the Samsung s90C gen 2 panel, how much of a downgrade is it compared to the g4?
It’s a downgrade in a few different ways in my opinion.
1. Lower bitrate content
2. Premium white
3. Image sharpness.
But it’s not so much as to say S90C Gen 2 is trash because it’s not. But G4 is in another league.
How much does the LG G4 77 inch tilt back with the stand, is it noticeable or not a big deal?
They reduced the tilt back.
Oddly enough, the 83” LG G4 showed up in Taiwan early this month and we got some installations in already.

I was thinking getting a G4 for 2 years
What are your thoughts on the S95D vs the G4? For movies and gaming. I game on a PC with a 4090. I have the S95D coming from an S95B. I'm not 100% sure I like the S95D so I feel like I want to try the G4 but not sure it's worth the effort to try it over the S95D.
For gaming I like the S95D, but I’m not sure about as an All around tv. Ironically I made a sit down about this right after this video that I’m going I have set to post later on today, around the similar question.
S95D is in a strange space, I think it’s for a lot of people but not for a lot of video enthusiasts users.
why are people saying the s95d looks blurry...I heard it looks phenomenal?

hey TKK hope all is well. i have a question re gaming, what settings do you use for gaming on the G4?. i know you talked about this on a prior video but can't remember which one. I'm not an avid gamer but I did just buy a PS5 and bought my first game TopSpin2k25. I'm just using the default game optimizer settings and wondering if I need to change anything. the game i believe is only 60FPS so nothing special there.
Nah it’s really more settings based far as how you would adjust the look, that’s all preference good friend.
I don’t own the G4. Not yet at least if I decide to get it, it’ll be when the 83” releases.

How was the holiday/vacation? After splashing out on the A95L 77” that will be my tv for a number of years but interested to hear about the G4. Sony have some announcement on 17 April as well I think which happens to be my bday!

Watch TV do you like more between the G4 and the S 95D? I’m trying to leave for Sony to drop to meet my decision but they take too long. I’m a gamer a movie watcher and live TV watcher sports specifically. and I have the latest Apple TV4k, just to give you clarity on which one do you think it’s better for what I do. And I also have a bright room.

That’s one of the most impressive things. Clearly I did not like the G3 as it offered me no real wow factor, I think most people last year just hyped it up, after seeing any QD-OLED it left me most unimpressed, this year changed my thoughts. LG is back!
Any news on a 2024-25 update on the A90K ? thanks
A90K is currently used just to display my camera system.
Tv is on its way out the door. It no longer meets my needs for me to have an interest to test anything.

@@AllAboutTKK expensive tv just for a camera system hehe, I'll wait for an update on the Sony, I still have a 48 C1. I'm not a huge gamer, but hardcore movie collector.

First and foremost let me just say I'm glad that you're better. Second, you should really get you some of that Dr. Sebi medicine. That shit works great. They got it on Amazon. It's $55 for two bottles but really worth it.
Third let me find out my mans TKK used to model for Ralph Lauren back in the day (No Diddy) lol.
Lastly, I'm definitely waiting on your G4 review if you decide to get it. Cats been hella hyping it up and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the upgrade over my S95B which I'm still enjoying. It'll be my first LG ever owned if I did decide to get one. Peace and love brotha.

I have no problem RUclipsrs upgrading to the next greatest and latest… it’s not eco waste if the previous tvs are being used or sold onto someone else… ^__^=
I use a 42" C2 for my gaming monitor. I just had a 65" Hisense U7K delivered because my old ass Samsung plasma finally gave out. I'm so disappointed. It just looks washed out and contrast is terrible. I'm debating on returning it and going for a 65" C2. But I just moved which already cost me many thousands of dollars lol.

@AllAboutTKK maybe I'm just spoiled. The U7K looks great unless you're watching movies with a lot of dark scenes. But my favorite genre is sci-fi. So lots of dark space type scenes. Tron Legacy in particular was very unimpressive.
The G4 or samsung s95d. Thats the big question....who can help?

Enjoying 55 S90D after getting into service menu to max the Gen 2 panel out. ~1800+ nits in peak highlights.
Hope a 77 S90D comes out w/ a Gen 3. If so, have seen others get >3k nits peak on their s95d Gen 3s. Wild!
83 G4 is absolutely the max OLED king. Cannot wait for the content.

Huh. Last time I checked, LG G4 was 5.5" screen.
Not for me.
My advice would be not to go for something like "PerfectTV" cause the channel would end up being Tv centric or "Tv only channel" and thus you will miss out on potential traffic or interest, which is not a good decision, business wise. My impression of you is that you are someone that is lover of all things tech, a "true to his self" kinda guy, if you will. For example, i like your arcade stick reviews, eventhough they are kind of a niche, or your PC case reviews. (I hope you do a Hitbox review someday, btw :) I am curious what your thoughts are on a "stickless" arcade stick, only buttons layout, cause it seems that people are moving on from traditional arcade sticks)
Anyways, at the end of the day it is your channel ofcourse, you should do as you please, what makes you happy. This is just my personal opinion. I wish you the best.

You realize you're never gonna be happy with the tv's you buy? Yes you could love the tv's but that only lasts one year because they gonna be replaced with the new model. You never allow yourself to be content because you.have to keep up with the joneses. I don't understand why you don't give a TV some time before getting a new one
I think you might of misunderstood the point of topic here, this is my hobby, and it’s a safe one too, it’s okay if I’m never happy, it’s never put me in financial hardship and so I also end up giving back to my community what I’m not using, it’s a win win because much like all the bloated tech review places that experience these TVs I’m just the real McCoy from a perspective that I actually buy them, I know it’s crazy to see a regular guy on camera do it at this frequency but here I am.

It’s his main hobby and if he earned the money busting ass, who cares? Most people just going to the bar over the year could have a few high end tvs instead.
