We lived in Australia for nearly two years and absolutely enjoyed our time there. Because of law changes and visa rules things didn’t work out like we thought. My father was offered a position in America and with lots of prayer our family made the decision to move back to America.
Flights were so expensive and fortunately for me, it was cheaper to stay in Hawaii for a layover. This just so happened to be during my 8th birthday. I don’t mind if I do spend time in Hawaii for my birthday. Lol This family video blog follows our trip from Australia to Hawaii as we make our way back home.
While in Honolulu Hawaii, we stayed at the Outrigger Reef Resort Waikiki Beach. We absolutely loved this resort! The room was beautiful, the views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach were amazing, and the staff were all so helpful! When we arrived they were so kind and handle our tons of luggage, gave us fresh juice and cloths to freshen up.
Come tour our room and check out the set of Hawaii Five-O while they film at our resort. If you are considering going, definitely take advantage of the Voyager 47 Club room or suite and enjoy exclusive lounge access and perks. Along with the views, we were also able to eat in the Viyager 47 Club for breakfast and dinner. (Online it says appetisers but it’s a full on buffet with wonderful selections and they even serve alcohol for those who drink. This saved us a lot of money as we only ate those two meals each day. (We didn’t Video in the lounge since it’s an intimate setting, but it is certainly worth the upgrade.) The director for the lounge is vegetarian so we were quite pleased to find vegetarian options each night.
The lounge looks Directly over Waikiki Beach, the Voyager 47 Club offers spectacular views and services, including premium beverages and tropical flavor tastings from the islands. Start your morning with a satisfying breakfast and strong coffee at daybreak. Next, adventure awaits with a local excursion with a snack pairing offered daily. Then, end the day with a serene Waikiki sunset, a chilled craft beer and our local twist on hors d'oeuvres, before retreating to your enhanced accommodation with the best views of the ocean and iconic Waikiki Beach.

What a beautiful place to stop off in on your way home , Riley no wonder you were so excited in the airport , I would be too 🤗 you guys and your views !! Could the hotel be any closer to that beach 😂 Karla your face by the pool , so sad yet in that glorious sun shine by a pool in Hawaii 😂😂 but totally get ya ! All after that long flight you just wanted to get in your room and freshen up and get changed and get in that pool ! 🤗
Yesssss! It was so hot! We were leaving Australia where it was winter time! Hahahha sit was a beautiful view! The ocean literally hit our hotel in the evenings! Lol
