Aaron is the fucking man! I think he played a big role in keeping Tom focused and reminding him of what Blink is

Man i want more neighborhoods style stuff. It ducks that it seems to be the complete opposite of what they want.

When I first saw one of your videos, I was shocked that your channel wasn't bigger considering how huge Blink is. Thank you for these amazing videos and audio! ❤

I dont quite understand why it always needs people like him for us to get such an amazing record, yeah sure he's the engineer and very important but soundwise, why dont mark and tom just get what they're fans want, I mean it's on the hand that everybody likes Untitled, Toypaj, Enema Dude ranch, and they all share the same foundation which are simple but catch Guitar licks and riffs, travis going nuts and the harmonics between mark and tom. It's a simple formula that they cracked over 20 years ago so why dont they just use it to death, everyone wants more of that sound. So I'm always a bit disapointed when I hear that it needed someone like Aaron for us to get that, because it should be mark tom and travis to deliver that by their own, because if aarons not around next time I dont know what we get😂

Rubin is amazing but what's wrong with intros? Ik its more like ava but why discount them? Its a pretty general element of somgwriting to just discard

Love all these clips. Is there a full video version of this interview anywhere? or just audio

Just full audio up at the moment, working on video excerpts on particular subjects first then may drop the full video interview if enough interest. I created a playlist for all these videos as well.

Would love to know his take on hurt interlude because that is quintessentially a AVA sounding track in my opinion

Gotta disagree with Aaron here. Obviously there shouldn’t be straight up AVA songs on blink albums, like some people say there were on Neighborhoods, but I think now blink is at a place where they can be flexible, and they don’t need to draw a hard line between bands. I love the official version of dance with me, but I’d really like to hear the intro version.

I disagree with you here. Neighborhoods in my opinion is the worst blink album. I’m glad Aaron was able to steer Tom in a direction that fit the band.

@tkthetank Nah. Neighborhoods is the most underrated album blink ever made. It's so good. Along with DeD

Sorry but no. The songs are weak. The guitar is lackluster on everything when compared to the Delonge albums that bookend it. Way too much AVA influence. Its got no heart and doesnt feel cohesive. This is Home, Wishing Well, Love Is Dangerous sound like they're from a completely different band as compared to Up All Night, Hearts All Gone or Even If She Falls. After Midnight is a afterthought single and most songs lack a good hook. Which is crazy to think coming off a Blink album. Its not as bad as Nine, but its close. @@kiwiangeldust6912
