Primal is one of the best things I have ever watched. Moving, powerful, gruesome, beautiful, heartbreaking and poetic.
I couldn't ask for a better animated series. Thank you, Genndy and crew!
My only complaint is that there aren't more episodes yet!
Primal re-establishes why animation exists.
It's not just to regurgitate toy advertising for children ( which is a sickness in entertainment), or just to puppet comedic radio plays.
Animation is a tool to tell stories from the imagination, to take the audience to places with a vivid unspoken language.
Thankyou for finally giving the adult audience something truly magical ( and I don't mean freakn super powers).
One of the most incredible shows I've ever seen. This show really should win all of the awards for everything ever.

One of the best Animated series ever by Genndy Tartakovsky and that I loved "Primal", I can put it up there with my favorite show "Samurai Jack".
You could tell me Genndy is in charge of any series like Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Anime, live action or animated and I’d have my full confidence that he would make it awesome. Can’t wait for more primal.
Genndy is a pure genius! He's one of the good (/real) reasons why I consider him one of my biggest influences in my writing.
I saw one episode and it immediately hooked me, the lack of dialogue is what is intriguing to me

@@nicolasriveros943 Filming is long finished but its normal for editing to take WAY longer than filming. Especially when you arent a huge hollywood studio with 1mil CGI masters and weta working for you but instead are just a guy in a basement and since there isnt money for studios etc, nearly all of the things are CGI. even the police office in the original was CGI cuz of course there is no such thing in sweden (where it was made) or a way to build such a studio for free.
Truly, a man of culture.
I wish I watched this when it first aired because this is phenomenal. Every episode has so much emotion without any dialogue and the animation is top notch

I grew up seeing Tartakovsky's name at the end of cartoon shows on Cartoon Network. He might not know this but he played a big role in me being a creative as an adult.
The episode with the old witch craft dudes that steal the essence of man to create a new baby was so deep and creative you hate them in the beginning but find sympathy for them by the end ! This is a excellent artful addition to a sad and somber adult network
I hope Primal comes on DVD and Blu Ray.

Loved Samurai Jack and Symbionic Titan and was completely blown away by Primal. Totally love it was so drawn in to it fully. I cried and was in Aww. Loved the end season finally and he spoke her name
The animation, music, and SFX (voice acting included) in this show are all Top. Notch. Seriously, you guys are amazing.

I really love this show. It is not often where a show can takes its time with the storytelling. There are no dialogue in the show, yet you can understand so much based on visuals and the actions of the two main characters. It makes it engaging because you are allowed to think and interpret the story the way that you want.
I already saw both seasons, and as with all projects from Tartakovsky, I loved it. I need more seasons and video games of this sagaaa
One my favourite series of 2019 along with Amphibia and Infinity Train. We deserve more adult animations like this: Brutal, beautifull and great work behind!

My favorite thing about this series. Is the non dialogue. You can feel the emotion you can tell what they're communicating to each other without words. What a beautiful masterpiece.

Look up Korgoth of Barbaria, for which Tartakovsky was the animation director. The fact that it never became a series is a huge loss, but Primal feels like Tartakovsky's way of bringing us to that type of savage and primordial world.

No matter how much work I admired, Genndy Tartakovsky is a talented cartoonist.
Genndy absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one, I've been a big fan since essentially Samurai Jack and Clone Wars blew me away so when I heard about this I rushed to watch it. The first 5 episodes were great but the next 5 somehow improved upon what we already had.
So excited for season 2 and this is a really cool video!
Would love to see more Genndy shows around, it's like he gave us a ton of masterpieces years ago and now only does a new show every so often

waiting for season 2 & 3 . this is definitely one of those cartoons that will be remembered fondly like Samurai Jack. Somehow the lack of speech makes it more intense and memorable ....wonder if they have any t-shirts or swag yet i would definitely grab some
Genndy is a master of storytelling and his animation style (samurai jack and primal) are very similar In my opinion he needs to make more shows for adult swim he knows how to do it right.
