I "discovered" this duo and their wonderful music after they had just released their last album and fell in love with their music immediately. I have been busy since this new release came out and living in a cultural wasteland----I have to order the music I like generally. I am going to rectify that and place an order for this new CD. This song is beautiful.
I have had the worst 3 months of my life and am battaling a lot of demon's at the moment these two have helped me out in more ways than one I lost a friend and my mother in law is terminally ill and my wife of 2 years is leaving me. Thank you for the great music and soulful songs to make me feel at peace with life. I will fight this everyday my daughter needs me. Sorry for the outburst just needed to say that and thank you to Mandolin Orange.

The first thing people usually read is The Meditations by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. It's not not about being the modern idea of a "stoic" that has no emotion. The point is to be able to put all of life's parts into perspective and help yourself deal with them in an appropriate manner, to never let things affect you more than they have to, and to always uphold your virtues. It has helped me through a lot, and it has helped many people I know through some very tough moments.
