    I bought mine last year and it now my everyday beater it’s taken the place of my Casio world timer. I love this watch so much but yes the bracelet had to go and I put it on a jubilee and it wears so fantastic!!!

    Exactly the review I was looking for and needed. Thanks. Sapphire crystal is nice but all my watches (about 10ish) have mineral glass and none were scratched so this will do. The Kamasu is great, however, I prefer the round dots on the Ray 2.

    One of my favourites! The stock bracelets are comfortable and work. I ended up swapping bracelets with the Mako as the polished sections of the ray bracelet better complement the indices of the dressier mako. The mako bracelet is more tool-like and rugged IMO, like yours.

    I like orange dial watches. I have one of these on order. Gonna put it on a nato or a rubber strap.

      You guys should try it out on a "Gulf Racing" color nato. It is the deal!!! I love it!!!! Also, a light brown leather band looks very good despite the black bezel

    looking at this colour , got my eye on the endmill bracelet too , maybe a ceramic bezel to go .. what does the bracelet taper down to ? great review ,thanks .

      Thanks! It tapers down to 18mm definitely gives the watch a great upgrade. Ceramic bezel would be great too!

    Hy,please tell me about this watch, it is easy to scrach the glass or the case/bracelett? If i use it just like that, on my wrist, no shocks, no hard work ,or any other things that can damage this watch. Just a daily watch

    • @timeportal1189
      @timeportal1189  3 года назад

      With daily wear you will eventually scratch the bracelet to some extent. The case will scratch a little as well but if you aren’t doing a lot of physical work you will be ok. The glass is mineral not sapphire so it’s more likely to scratch but I have not scratched mine and I wear it a lot as a daily beater watch. Hope that answered your questions!

      @@timeportal1189 i recived the strap yesterday and put it on already. The Orient Ray 2 is my absolute favorite piece from now on, i love it!😍 I payed 89$ for the strap which is a little bit too expensive i think but in the end this watch deserves it, thanks again for the tip✌🏼 greetings from Germany

    I own several dive watches Seiko, Citizen, Deep Blue. and Luminox, and although I agree the watch is good for the price, the Bezel and that dam push-in crown, are the worst I have come across, completely useless from a functional point of view, as they will give you blisters trying to adjust!!! If it was a quartz or solar piece fine, (set and forget) but because of the mechanical movement, you will have to constantly adjust the watch if like me you switch up your watches!! Let this be a cautionary tale, you will rue the day if you get one of these, especially if you have large fingers, this coming from a person who has very small thin fingers. In fact, it was so bad I offloaded it at a pawn shop, after 3 months of ownership, lost $100, and I do not regret it one bit!!!

    That sucks that Seiko & Orient you always have to replace the metal band because they are tin can metal bracelet garbage

    • @timeportal1189
      @timeportal1189  3 года назад

      Guess they need to cut corners somewhere to keep them affordable. I do like my cheap jubilee bracelet on my skx 007 though!

    • @richardbosh4522
      @richardbosh4522 3 года назад +1

      They do make excellent watches then they go dirt cheap on the bracelet. thinking between skx011 orange or the ray 2 orange

      Orient star bracelets are much better. Very nice quality. They choose not too. But they are very capable of making quality bracelets.
