Yall i put up my tree on Friday and i have it in a big ass box and i had to carry it up like three flights of stairs... the struggle is REAL ! Ive been using that same tree for the past 13 years and it still going storng so im good with it !
i am happy for my 1 crazy solo tree struggle...driving it for 40 min on the highway, holding it with one hand, getting home almost having fall on me while taking it down the hood of the car, then dragging it up two flights of stairs leaving a trail of evidence of the poor thing along the way, finally managing to find the door let alone the keyhole open the door its so wide it barely made it inside before I had fallen on top of it...and this tree was net wrapped....to then get it inside, put it on the pot i had placed and spilled beforehand to when I finally cut the netting off, the thing was so dam huge and wide it tackled me and i was like an unwrapped gift under it....I had more sap and pine needles on me than the tree itself but it did look amazing when it was done...and of all my years of tree buying that is the one I will never forget

I love christmas trees but I absolutely hate decorating it. We have the same fake christmas tree for over 20 years (we love nature and cutting trees down is like destroying natures lungs which is crucial for life on this planet, also I don't like all those needles/bugs/spiders falling everywhere) that you need to assemble first and then get all those branches with bendable wire in it straight. Then the very fragile christmas balls in which you have to put a little bendable metal thread so that you can hang them in the tree. If that is not enough then comes those lights that are always in a world-class puzzel solving knot. If you finally have gotten those lights sorted out then you have to get them in the tree. Normally that would be easy but the lights that we have are stuck in a circle with at the end the plug that ends up in the socket. And if then one light is broken " oh lord, save me". So one year after christmas I just took the entire christmas tree decorated and all and placed in upstairs in what was my brother bedroom in a corner. I just threw a blanket over it and the next year I just took that christmas tree downstairs and pulled some of those branches straight, plugged the lights in and voilà. All set up. That was the easiest christmas tree ever.
