We have no way of researching individual states' laws as to legality of these components. Customers interested in purchasing custom aftermarket parts are encouraged to research their local laws and make the determination before placing the order.
We typically do not go off-roading with our R3 bikes so we haven't identified a need for mud guards or fenders. In fact in, in the R3 world we are known for fender elimination parts and other rear end cleanup parts. A swingarm mounted fender/mudguard adds unsprung mass to the rear suspension and it's totally unnecessary so we will not be making or supplying such parts.
TSTindustries thank you for the reply but I live in India and I don’t the license plate protruding like that, I liked the license plate with mud guard setup in Ducati xdiavel that’s y I’m searching for a mud guard with license plate for r3!!!
You can probably find what you are describing in Thailand. I have seen this type of mudguard made there for other bikes. The R3 is very popular there so they probably make it.
Furious_Styles They are not. We have a kit specifically developed for the R6 that places the license plate mounting location in a similar place as on this bike. Here is a link to that kit: tstindustries.com/Fender-Eliminator-R6.html . And here you can see the video of that kit being installed: ruclips.net/video/F3_owKg1HhE/видео.html
I've been looking at this bracket this past week, but now that i saw this video it looks like the license plate is angled toward the inside of the bike like around 45° degrees if that makes any sense?, i don't want to get pulled over for that reason can the plate sit straight up so that if a cop if behind he can clearly see the plate number?
+Miguel Gonzalez The bracket does not actually hold the license plate at 45 degrees. The license plate ends up about 15-20 degrees off vertical. The license plate is fully visible from behind and sides. The bracket can be bent up to 5 degrees to fine tune the angle, but do not go beyond that as you will crack the powdercoat. Be careful though...I would recommend researching local laws on license plate placement. In some places it is not how legible the plate is that gets you pulled over. Some jurisdictions are strict on where the plate is mounted on the bike as far as how far towards the rear the plate has to be.
I have this on my 636 same location, but have to get rid of it because of the suspension travel, the tire hits the plate as you roll over bumps and whatnot
Hey there - The bike used was owned by an employee here at TST. It was on stock suspension and not adjusted. Under stock settings you should not experience an instance where the tire would hit the plate. If your bike was/is lowered you may experience some issues.
TSTindustries yea I bought the bike used, I had went out to take a look after I have seen the vid to do some measurements and noticed that the bike was previously lowered. Something the prev owner neglected to tell me, although I did feel a little awkward on the bike, but it's the first time on a smaller bike for me so I assumed it was the way it should have been. Gonna raise it back to stock this weekend
William Crawford We have never encountered that in the eight years we have been selling this kit. I would venture a guess that the OEM screws in that location have been replaced with shorter ones at some point in the bike's history. If you would like you can replace those screws from the inside of the tail with longer ones that will accept the bracket.
Adam H There are two fender eliminators available for an 09 R6. They can be found here: tstindustries.com/Fender-Eliminator-R6.html tstindustries.com/Yamaha-YZF-R6-Elite-1-Fender-Eliminator-2006-2014.html
+Stephen Kirk We have 2 different license plate lights available for purchase in addition to this fender eliminator. In this video we are simply showing the installation of the fender eliminator.
I just installed on my 06 ZX6R today. Looks amazing. Definitely cleans the tail section up a whole lot. 10/10 recommend this product.
How did you light up the license plate ?
The license plate light kit that we offer in our store attaches to the very top of the license plate itself.
We currently do not offer exhausts for this bike. We have a secret product we are working on but it will not be released until next year.
I want to buy one of these for my bike but I don't know if they are legal here in FL
Safest bet for any aftermarket part for your motorcycle is to contact DOT and get information from them.
Really nice stuff out there. Can this be shipped to France ?
Yes, we ship directly to France right off of our website!

I have a 09 R6...do you know if the bolts on my R6 are in the same locale as the bolts from your ZX6R?

TSTindustries Thanks bro. I checked out the vid & I'm going online now to purchase the kit. I've also subscribed. Much appreciated.
Furious_Styles Awesome. We're always glad to help.
TSTindustries I clicked the link you sent to order a kit & the site is down. Any idea when it will be back up?
Furious_Styles it should be up now. We had some website maintenance going on earlier and unfortunately were down for a few hours.

+TSTindustries okay thanks will be ordering soon.
Miguel Gonzalez You're welcome
Miguel Gonzalez Have you seen our programmable sequential integrated taillights for your bike?
Do you have a link to order for my 05 zx6r?
Ebay or Amazon
Why does it have ro be Ebay or Amazon. We have a reallyvbice shop of our own at TSTINDUSTRIES.COM
does the license plate touch the back wheel if u have someone on the back?

what if we don't have those factory plate bolts that you use to keep the plate on the bracket???
+jinxx rider636 You can go out to a local hardware store and pick up some nuts and screws for fifty cents.
now i feel like an idiot.... ._.
+jinxx rider636 why?
because as another man i should have already came up with that manly mechanical engineering thought of buying a screw and bolt and used those. xD
+jinxx rider636 Don't feel bad dude...it's Friday.
What if the stock bolts are way too small for the nuts to screw on when trying to put the fender eliminator kit on?

+TSTindustries okay, I'll look at getting new bolts
They are M6. Just have to pick the length that works for you
Most people I've seen with an aftermarket exhaust have heat wrap underneath this bike, how come you guys dont?
It is not necessary to have the exhaust heat wrapped. This is actually not our bike so we can't say for sure why the owner didn't have exhaust wrap.
yea regular screws are fine
Do you know the name of bracket
@@chrisjones5033 tstindustries.com ...we made the parts and we made the video to serve as an installation guide
@@TSTindustries okay awesome thank you
Are they 50 state legal?
