Just a few tips if you need: Weighted pull ups are great Take your shoes off, you will feel a huge difference Holding the FL from a negative is easier than rising to it

I feel like that also works really well and might be even more energy efficient because I don’t use up energy in the lowering process. But I’m not sure yet…
@@AndriyLoeffler The great part about lowering is that it makes you to control the movement, therefore being massively helpful for unlocking the FL. Never tried going to FL from Ice-Cream Makers, so can't really tell how it feels. Also, what I can suggest is to do dropsets(or maybe you already are, not sure if I saw this in the video). These skills require proper resting time. Sure, the body can adapt somehow, but the process wouldn't be much faster. The best approach is learning to hold the full front lever with resistance bands assistance and of course have at least one day off to rest. That way, the body learns to exercise the correct muscles required to hold the pose, and progress is much easier.
UPDATE: I learned the Full Front Lever in 55 days! Part 2: ruclips.net/video/Llr9fJZ5YJk/видео.html And here's an other video that might interest you. Straddle Planche in 90 Days: ruclips.net/video/_-DC3evTeAI/видео.html
I’m going to try this challenge, I’m at a 3-5 straddle so maybe in 30 days of specific front lever training I can achieve the full lever. I’ll make a video on it and shout you out. Loved the vid keep it up!
I had trained pull ups for 2 years and only my core strength was lacking for this skill, i trained it for one week and did a full front lever after that
Unless you can pull up double your bodyweight from the start or you are under 170cm it is 100% impossible to learn full front lever from scratch in 30 days. If you want to achieve it usually aim for 5-6 months
that's my thing with these progression videos. what is the history? like, i could train for years doing handstand pushups and maltese dumbbell presses, able to press my my whole bodyweight with 2 dumbbells, then claim to challenge myself to learn planche in 10 days.
Sorry, I know this video is a few years old, but I just came across it. I've recently started calisthenics myself. Do you think it's feasible to learn these with my thumb over the bar? I have been practicing muscle-ups with my thumb over, and when I switch to around it feels a bit more difficult. Or would you recommend thumb around for more stability?
Thanks! That’s exactly what I’m doing right now. Took me some time to notice how good this progression is. I’m currently at 7-9 secs. Really close to the full front lever now. Video will come soon!
When do you think its a good time to start training a front lever? After learning muscle up and L-sit, do you think i can already start chasing the front lever?
Yea I think so. If you can hold the tuck front lever a little bit you can start training. But even if you can’t you can still do raises, negatives and the other exercises that I’m showing in the video to work your way up to the tuck front lever (just do the dynamic exercises in the tuck progression)
I know this will sound weird but I did my first front lever by accident! When I workout, I usually do 100 to 120 pullups about 3 -4 times a week. With changing grips and I might also do isometric holds. I've been doing that every week for about 6 months. One I did a pullup held at the top but instead of lowering myself, I didn't kind of a diagonal push back. My legs came up and I held it for about 3-5 seconds! I there like, did I just do a front lever??
@@AndriyLoeffler it seems so. As much as they say it is core I'd say it's a lot of lat and rear dealt strength since they burn a lot. What I'm doing to train is hold the lever for 3 seconds, then switch to straddle hold for 3 seconds, then the alternate legs for 3 seconds, them the tucked for 3 seconds. And try to get back to the lever and repeat. That way you build endurance since you go from hard to easy. I've thought of trying ankle weights on my legs to make it harder so maybe you can try that
@@Bporte Yeah, it only looks like it's core when really it's more like 90% lats because it's essentially a pull down against your own body weight and gravity. And that's a lat exercise. Regressing is good and I tried it out but I guess I have to do it more maybe. I'll try it out, thanks!
The hipflexor muscles are needed for front levers too right? I think that's what's been holding me back as I can do advanced tucked holds for 25seconds
i mean, even though Lats is the main muscle, holding ppt helps a lot on FL. prolly can include more dragon flag or other core training to your FL training

Happy to hear that! Good luck! 👍
Great video🔥
Thanks!
One arm pullup you did mostly targets your biceps and hand in general.
Great content, really encouraging. Where's the first video from, that's my local Cali park
Thanks! Do you mean from the intro of my workout? I'm training at the Hibiya Park in Tokyo. The ones from the intro I don't know.
Top bro crazy evolution💪😜✌️🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thanks!!
I commend you, great video
Well done 👍
The first progress you did was adv tuck not tuck its way easier and the what you said adv front lever it's half lay
Good job mate, hownis your progress after almost one year?
good job man, try to use bands for maximum efficiency
These skills require proper resting time. Sure, the body can adapt somehow, but the process wouldn't be much faster. The best approach is learning to hold the full front lever with resistance bands assistance and of course have at least one day off to rest. That way, the body learns to exercise the correct muscles required to hold the pose, and progress is much easier.
UPDATE: I learned the Full Front Lever in 55 days!

And here's an other video that might interest you.
@@graydontinneny2276 Awesome! I’m happy I inspired you. I’m also working on the full front lever right now. Let’s get it! 💪
teach me pls
@@strve800 As soon as I reach the full front lever I will make a tutorial. Maybe in about 2-3 weeks. Stay tuned.
@@AndriyLoeffler can I learn it with u everyday bro, so inspiration
Great Video, what was your max pull-ups before starting the front lever training. Just wanted to know your strength.
Thanks! About 13-14
Very good and honest video! but try gloves next time.. I have tried many different ones from the construction shop
8:10 I think that guy just inquired himself
Hibiya is such a cool place!
30 days is amazing. It took me almost 6 months...
6 months is amazing, it tooks me 3 years
I had trained pull ups for 2 years and only my core strength was lacking for this skill, i trained it for one week and did a full front lever after that
My next move 💪🏽
Great video.
Don't workout with your mask though...
You already have the FL ! Juste keep off your schoes 😂
@@YouTrolol ur right, but titles like this just get more clicks, if you want the truth its usually in paid courses
Bro u need to work on half lay front lever that help you achieve a proper frontlever
Thanks! That’s exactly what I’m doing right now. Took me some time to notice how good this progression is. I’m currently at 7-9 secs. Really close to the full front lever now. Video will come soon!
gainssss have you been training every single day or followed some schedules?
For the most part I trained every other day.
Only when it was raining did I realise you're in Japan
Wow that's crazy! You must have build some real good lat strength with those pull ups, nice!!
Hello My friend, a question! The days are consecutive? Or if You need, you rest between days of workout?
Hi, the 30 days also include rest days.
Osvaldo 💪
The best 💪
thank you
The hipflexor muscles are needed for front levers too right? I think that's what's been holding me back as I can do advanced tucked holds for 25seconds
Do you know what your max weighted pull-up is?
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
bro your body seems arching a lot. did you intend to get ppt when performing FL ?
Yeah I need to focus more on that and fix my form.
i mean, even though Lats is the main muscle, holding ppt helps a lot on FL. prolly can include more dragon flag or other core training to your FL training
