About us?
Here at TMC we love to SAVE, and work on classic cars, which include Valiant Chargers, Holden commodore, Ford Fairlane & falcon, even JDM stuff like Toyota Corolla, Daihatsu, lancer, Silvia, skyline and Celica! And what else we can get our hands on!
We are trying to save what ever we can, I've owned a Ford XB coupe, I currently own a XW XY falcon too, all have big plans to come... We have engine swaps coming, like the 440BB, 360 dodge block, and even a 5.7 Hemi that's going into my VJ charger!
so stick around and give us a Sub to follow along and ill try to teach you what i know in DIY style for the everyday home car builder! We will show Rust repair, spray painting, body work, and general restoration tips as we go!
thanks for your time! Cheers 🍻✌
That’s awesome man well done 👍🏻
Just subscribed been watching your other videos you do brilliant work. Keep em coming man. 👍👍👌
Thank you very much for the subscription Craig! Glad you are on board, and "keep em coming" I will! 🍻
Nice pick up twisty ... noticed your missus calling you that too lol
Hehe yeah it's a catchy nickname bud!
Glad the original owner cleaned up the rat shit from the engine bay after originally listing it. Good score and rare car!
What a great find mate, I agree the paint needs to go and so do the bumpers, not a fan of painted chromed bumpers. That motor needs to go as well to a new home to finance a more suitable Mopar 6 or 8 I think . Keep up the good work looking forward to see this progress. Cheers from NZ, Phil
we will see how the budget goes after painting and stuff, the current motor might have to stay for a while until then haha
This buttresses for A Body based coupes were "invented" by Chrysler of Mexico, they started using it in 1970 to 76, Brazil used in the Dart based Charger in 1971 to 1978
@lucashenriquepedrosocabello pretty cool hey, I think reports I've found are 150 were brought to australia, and only 78 kits were installed onto aussie cars, my figures are hazy but all I know is its rare and cool! Haha
good pick up mate when can i drive it
haha... you are not getting behind the wheel after ive seen you drive into that bollard haha
How good does that Nissan engine sound in the Mexican
Hey Loz! yes absolutely it does, Jess bought this car actually, I'm very jealous!
Is that a Road Warrior type
car?
Hey Sonny, I'm not sure what you mean, road warrior as in the Mad Max series? If so I believe it was a Ford Falcon coupe, but I wish it was in the movie 😄
@@TwistedMetalCustoms Mel Gibson movie
@@TwistedMetalCustoms ok Not the USA Ford Falcon do you have aRoad Warrior Falcon?
@@sonnypena194 i actually did have a 1974 XB coupe yes but i had to sell it for unforeseen circumstances unfortunately.. i have a VJ charger as seen in the background at the start, that car featured in the Mad Max movie as one of the Warrior vehicles which is cool
@@TwistedMetalCustoms you find some nice cars,I’m into the Falcons and Rancheros been messing with them for 40+years enjoy your up loads.
Being a rare model, you would at least have to look at original colour. You probably have buckleys of finding the original engine, but at least go a Chrysler engine, the 265 with RT specks go pretty hard. That Nissan engine would be better suited to some other project.
Yeah the factory is like almost an olive green kind of, doesn't look too bad, we are thinking about it, Jess my partner actually bought the car so it's up to her on the color, as the engine goes, yeah for the rarity I also agree engine wise, possibly a nice 360 with 5 speed box would be nice, but it will be further down the track, we want to spend some time on the road with it first haha
Magic car but why paint a mopar with a Hyundai pastel?
It was done quite long ago, fashion changes as often as my underwear, monthly haha, so it was probably the best thing since sliced bread back then, and each to their own on the builds they do, but it's done its time in bellflower so time for a change for sure haha 😄
I’ll sub to anyone who loves there vals 🤙
This is the best comment 🤙🍻
