0:49 Personally, I think most of us really like the MAX, now that it is back we are able to enjoy it finally! It is better in terms of looks, efficiency, comfort, noise, and most importantly: Possibilities. The 737 has performed its duty for 53 years, and with the MAX it will continue to this for many years to come opening new possibilities for airlines around the world!

No issues with the Max flew on it out of Houston before this weather came in. Every Boeing plane has had bad reputations before such as the 787 Dreamliner linthium battery issue and the 777 and its fuel line issue the 737 had the rudder issue and all of those planes are still flying even the MD80s and the Dc10s and 11s are still flying not commercially so the hysteria/ bad rep of the max will disappear and hope to see the Max gain a new reputation and a future of growing success

A part of me is happy that this aircraft is getting back in the air and we can begin moving on from this nightmare. It is undeniably a beautiful plane. I am also pleased to see the airlines being so accommodating about people who want to switch planes and such. Logic also tells me the MAX’s are now very safe planes to fly on. Boeing knows it’s do or die with the MAX now so they MUST do the right thing this time or face the prospect of their demise.
I am also glad that United and some other airlines DID NOT make a big pomp and circumstance about this return to service flight. A mention by the captain may be warranted, but a big gate party or something else would be in poor taste in my opinion. Let’s not forget the hundreds of people who are part of the reason this plane was grounded in the first place.
The MAX crisis will always be an ugly scar on the Boeing company, one I don’t believe will ever fade completely. I can only hope this crisis was the wake up call they needed to stop being a company that fosters the type of greed and shady practices that put them in this position

so basically first class on united is crap. it seems to me that only delta has a decent first class. i will be flying this plane and airline tomorrow and now i am not looking forward to it. so far i have wrote off American and now United. It just bs that we pay for first class, but it's not real first class.

The Max is merely the same old same old 65-year-old, with new furniture and slightly better m/p/g. The heady days of American innovation are not on display here.

Was this paid for by Boeing or United? It sounded like it.

Yes, the part where I talk about United beating up their own customers was a dead giveaway...

Nice video! I was able to follow this flight in real time, in part because of the lady in Seat 4D (you’ve shown glimpses of her on this video) who is an Instagrammer (@hayitskay97) and a United crew member.

First class doesn't even have a tv screen, what a joke

I will never fly on a Max, but I really hope for no more crashes. It’s a shame the FAA and Boeing’s underhandedness killed so many people and there was basically zero repercussions other than a stock price drop and the CEO being sent away with $60 million. After seeing how much they tried to bury in this scandal, I can only imagine what skeletons are hiding in Boeing’s other plane’s closets.

I hope this plane has been sprayed with enough holy water before take-off.

Personally, I wouldn't fly in one, to many deaths..737 MAX.....MCAS = Might Crash Aircraft Suddenly.

Yes I'm happy to see the 737 MAX return with another airline, at least a good one that flies it safely :) It's nice to see that in the real world people aren't really concerned about flying on one.
I guess I'm also one of the few that actually liked the off-color jokes in the last video. In my experience some people nowadays are just soo oversensitive, oh well.

I can think of 346 reasons to be sensitive about what this plane represents.

2nd sensor was always there. Boeing just chose not to use it. Criminal.
