0:49 Personally, I think most of us really like the MAX, now that it is back we are able to enjoy it finally! It is better in terms of looks, efficiency, comfort, noise, and most importantly: Possibilities. The 737 has performed its duty for 53 years, and with the MAX it will continue to this for many years to come opening new possibilities for airlines around the world!
Agreed! The MAX is definitely a great plane and looks a lot better than it’s competitors. It was really comfortable to fly on and I hope people give it a chance. Thanks for watching!
Good to see them back, the 8's have been flying for ages without issue so should be fine. Need something different in the air, just need someone to build one for X-PLane 11 and I'll be happy with that.
Before the crashes we had 2 max 8 per day here in Barbados .. I enjoyed every single flight .. I was also on a 737/800 coming home and the guys next to me were the crew sent to bring back the max 8 grounded in Barbados
My co worker is a retired airline pilot. He never thought the Max would fly again. From what I can tell though he didn’t like Max from a pilot view but he KNOWS EXACTLY the problem that needed fixed for it to fly again. He was rated to fly 747s but normally flew 777s and 737s 3-5-21
No issues with the Max flew on it out of Houston before this weather came in. Every Boeing plane has had bad reputations before such as the 787 Dreamliner linthium battery issue and the 777 and its fuel line issue the 737 had the rudder issue and all of those planes are still flying even the MD80s and the Dc10s and 11s are still flying not commercially so the hysteria/ bad rep of the max will disappear and hope to see the Max gain a new reputation and a future of growing success
Those overhead bins are more claustrophobic though. I don’t think it’s worth a trade off for me personally. Obviously for the airline it makes complete sense.
I’m glad to see the 737Max back in the air again. I’ve absolutely no issue with flying on a Max myself. Hopefully airlines in Europe, will start introducing these Back into service In the next couple of weeks, as COVID restrictions begin be eased! ✈️
First time on your channel--I've viewed 3 other avgeek accounts of this flight, yours is the only one(so far!) posted from FC and on the left side of the aircraft. No mention made of UA's full drink service, something other US carriers refuse to do--did you obtain their famed Stroopwafel and properly heat it before consuming? Did you interact with other enthusiasts during the flight?
After hearing this in the video, I imagined a preflight briefing between captain and crews. "Team, our goal for today is not to beat up any passengers, okay?". Good video.
