The v8 is the best! I keep this wheel in my car. I use it daily. The 18xl and the 16x I have stay at the house for longer rides. V8 no doubt is amazing.. v8f has got to be the last wheel you’ll ever need.

I just ordered a V8F and I can't wait to ride. It will be my first EUC and probably not my last. I do plan on using it for a while before upgrading.

A buddy of mine let me borrow his V5 and I’m about 2 hours into learning and having such a blast! It’s so hard but also equally rewarding when making progress.
I’m going to ride the V5 some more before looking to make a purchase.

Great stuff man! I just ordered my first EUC this week from ewheels. It was a toss up between the v8F and the new V10, I ended up with the V10 bc I’m taller and I needed the range to not piss off my wife on her ebike lol. Awesome video quality man, really well done!
V10 is a great choice, but why not the V10F?
Inmotion makes some nice wheels, got myself a V5F for cruising around the hood and it's great. Still ride my Monster for cross city commutes though. Btw, you should make a Monster v3 review, such a unique wheel

I want their new improved pads for this wheel for my V10F. The V10F pad are comfy but need more grip which the looks like the V8F have. Hopefully they will make them available as a separate part purchase

@@dajosee i hadn't noticed a whine. But all eucs have some kind of soft noise whether from their fans or the motors. But this wheel was virtually silent.

Seems like a nice reboot of the V8 but that price point would likely make me just spend a few extra bucks for a V10.
As someone who's been looking at the V8 forever as my potential first wheel, I think the reason I prefer the V8F over the V10 is the price point and the compactness of the design. The sub 1k price of the V8 was already attractive, but if I can save 900 then I can save 1000 too and finally get one. pushing it to 12--1500 just to get something that might not feel right could result in a little buyer's remorse. I also like that rather than have that extra piece for the handle it's just built right in and it's a smaller tire making it a bit more comfortable for a beginner that wants something which will give them confidence before moving to a bigger or stronger wheel. Then again you're a taller guy than I with a *lot* more experience with EUCs in general so the V10 (or pretty much any other wheel) is also just a better fit.
It is a nice price point, which should expand the EUC community considerably. I can’t express how professional your visual lay out comes across. Do you use drones for your visual affect?
I use drone from time to time but not in all vlogs.
I have an V8 and I use it everyday (1400 miles already!). I use DarknessBot app to unlock max speed to 20mph but having just a few extra mph (like 23mph) would be ideal.
Bigger pedals would be a big plus.
What I don’t like is the silver rim. I prefer a full black color and I disable lights and sound.
And they should charge $1000, not $1100 for the V8F
Hey Fawk. I've had my V8 since July of last year. I love it. However, I would like more range, but at the cost of more weight, maybe not. I carry the charger with me to use at places like the library or Starbuck's. A nice little battery top off really helps a lot while I am "cafe racing" between coffee shops. I did finally crash last November, on to my left side. The wheel tumbled pretty hard cracking both side covers in half. Even with the cushioned wheel cover on. Nicely, I was able to ride the two miles home afterward and no ER visit to the hospital. Poor wheel is really beat up. Anyway, I did not know that the DarknessBot app would allow a top speed increase on the V8. I will definitely try that out. Thanks man! Peace...Guy. Riding around the Portland Maine area........

Really terrific video, you really put a lot of time into these videos and it shows. I have been looking to upgrade my V8 but can’t sacrifice too much portability, I can go a few pounds heavier but the V10 is too heavy (I carry it up a few flights of stairs every day), it seems the V8F is the only option lol.. maybe a Tesla2...

Maybe, but it doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade over the V8. Great wheel though.

Do you always ride with one foot more forward on the pedals than the other one? Does it give you more stability or have you just found that's what's comfortable for you? I'm riding a Glide2 (V5) and am a beginner. Riding a EUC is FINALLY starting to click in my brain, but it seems like I always need to adjust my feet on the small pedals for better control. I'm learning on this one but have ordered a Kingsong XL for when it clicks all the way. And the production of your videos is out of this world. Very impressive.

I really think the v8 and 16s are in the same class and are the perfect beginner wheels. You have enough speed and range to get you into the intermediate level while not being too powerful or heavy that would make it harder to learn.

I have the V8 currently and looking for my next wheel, but still cannot find anything suitable, other than maybe the V8F, which doesn't seem like a big upgrade. My requirements are:
1. Needs to fit in my gym locker (something like the Nikola does not)
2. Needs to be light enough to take up a few flights of stairs every day (sub 20kg)
3. Needs to be light/compact enough to fit under the seat on the train (on my daily commute)
4. Needs to have a good trolly handle to be able to wheel into a busy coffee shop
5. Needs to have a good cut off switch.
e.g. at rush hour, where everyone is squashed like sardines, it's very clunky to need to retract the handle on the KingSongs or mess with turning the wheel on/off on the Gotways (the MSP is even worse with the partial cut off!). On the V8, I just lift by the handle and it cuts off, I don't even retract the trolly handle. I go up the stairs, drop the wheel and grab the trolly handle without missing a step or slowing anyone behind me, it's super convenient.
I wish there was something that had just a little bit more power/speed (range is ok on the v8), that's still sub 20kg, without sacrificing all of this convenience.
Maybe a Tesla V2 would work if it has a cut off sensor. Not sure if it does. But it’s super light and small. But you won’t get all the things on your list - no perfect wheel.
@@evXNYC been researching the Tesla V2 the past hour and it does have a cut off switch (unlike the V1) - you know, it does seem like the perfect wheel for me! - when are you doing a review of one? :P

What do you have the tire pressure set at? The default 40psi makes it too wiry I find when you are hitting a lot of ruts or riding general bad roads in the city
Depends on the EUC, but i ride my Nikola at 35 and had this at 35 as well.

You should consider reviewing the Revel Kit. It's under reviewed. I own several Revel Kits, several BoostedBoards and several Onewheels. The Revel kit is my favorite thanks to direct drive in-line, hub motors, great range, swappable batteries, choose any deck, choose any wheel, above average top speed, superior acceleration/braking and optional 4WD. These new panels are build in so you only need to replace the pads. Not exactly sure the price.

elitehax for commuting, you’ve got a few options. But are you a high speed rider? Are you extremely experienced? Do you need to ride above 30mph?

I thinks ita a Nice wheel but The price tag is not right..... You can get a Tesla for just maybe for 200$ more and it kills this wheel in any aspects. Weight should be the same and The cippy of a small wheel. Self iam riding MSX 84v 1600wh. Great review video man! Cheers 👍🍺

I pre ordered the v8f, and they delayed the delivery 😭😭 my current unicycle keeps running out of battery and I always have to take an Uber when I run out of battery (I have ninebot one s1)
Oh man that’s the worst, but not unheard of in the EUC world. Happened to every Kingsong I ever bought lol. (They delayed the release date)

SPHNC if you’re saving up, go for the 100v. The bigger power ceiling allows you to push the wheel as hard as you want with less chance of cut out.
Money man murray Jacob good choice! Guys here in nyc are hitting 40mph on the wheel daily. However 41-42mph is cut out, so tread carefully. If you weigh more than 170, cut could be at 40mph. But live on the edge!
i remember my Austrian Friend He buys the inmotion v8f on fucking Amazon instead to buy on the main inmotion store online. and he waited for so long and he got it after 3weeks and then he says to me the safety seal on pakage was already open that means somebody was used it already
