All of you "like" dislikers should show some respect to this girl for the actual work that she's doing. Being in the electrical trade myself for over 20 years I can see she is passionate about what she does. Like who cares if she like says like like a lot?? Her actions speak waaaay louder. She's hard working, dedicated and an actual GOOD INFLUENCE to any self respecting girl that wants to become more in life than fake boobs, fake lashes fake everything. Even without makeup i find her far more beautiful than most of these brainless entitled bimbos you find on social media these days. Kudos to you Lexi! Show them haters what a real woman can do❤

I agree but she needs to stop the F word. I would like my Grand Daughters to see her, but…Before you flame me, I spent 50 years in the electrical trade. I have heard every cuss word known to man in multiple languages and used a few myself, but it’s not a good look for someone with so much influence. BTW, I have a lot of respect for Lexi’s skills.

Absolutely! I work in an office environment now, but one a month I like to get out in the field and do some hands-on work.
And there is nothing like assembling a complicated system, and at the end of the day standing back at looking at it, knowing you did that AND it works!
So you don´t even install stuff while working in the office?! OH no, poor little fella you are.
@@wintilator9595 That's right we don't do the installs in the office. We plan installs in the office (or while WFH, i.e. the virtual office), and then our techs do the installs on-site.
I agree with Lexi, having retired from the railroad, my satisfaction was watching this huge piece of equipment come to life after a repair and seeing it do the massive work it was engineered to do .

We already have Men to do work she is doing. Those Men CAN NOT have babies. Do you understand how simple that is? Again, this is why Father's have to do better. Your job is to raise a future wife, not a future Son you always wanted.

Her story is important. I'm not sure if she went to college first but it would be good if people of her generation knew there was things besides college and all of it's debt.

The only thing I hate about this trend now of pushing people into the trades is that we're just repeating history in a different way. My generation (I'm 33) was told by everyone to go to college. You gotta go to college. Now we're telling young people to get into trades because there is a shortage. Give it some time and then we're going to be short on doctors, engineers, etc etc.
If I'm not mistaken Lexi has mentioned in her videos that trades aren't for everyone and to do what you want to do. And she is 100% right. We should be pushing kids to try as many things as possible to see what they're good at and what they actually enjoy doing and not trying to funnel them all into one area. We don't need another repeat of what my generation went through where we were constantly told the only way to succeed is to go to college.

I took speech class in college and they helped eliminate our use of the word “like” by pausing instead of saying it. I never did it again

Learning trades is a good thing. Not everyone, male or female, can handle the physical work, or the mental work for electrical work.
It is a shame that many people under 35 won't even show up for work on time. Or even work their assigned hours.

It's the vernacular of her generation. I first noticed it in the early 90s when a young guy started working with us and every 10th word was "like".
It might be a nervous tick 🤷♀️ I’ve seen some of her videos and she doesn’t say like several times. Also, I am born and raised in Californian and I used to say “hella” often. This word used to give me away as to my origins 😂 As I got older and surrounded myself with professionals my speech also changed.

@@10iggie Again, 43 years in the trade as a power lineman, I’ve climbed poles and towers with women, some of those ladies were better than some of the men. Yeah, 500 mcm is a little hefty, I’ve racked holes with 1250 mcm with women. It’s like anything else ……. man or woman, some have and some don’t, obviously Lexi has it.
@@edge1289 Excuse me Mr Lineman , but I seriously don't see many women carrying 4 inch conduit at a commercial site and strapping it to kindorf on a cieling while balancing on the lift , there will be jobs that would be easier than others but not everyone works at the utility company where there are "specialty" jobs , like a "meter guy "

Big systems and you say panels if you work on big systems and you’re a commercial or an industrial electrician you would say that you were working on electrical gear, not a panel and then you said generator what size generator what size panel cause I mean what I’ve seen you show us load centers my panels I’ve never seen you show any gear I have seen your videos where you say you can’t run conduit very well which makes me question a lot of stuff because most commercial electricians can run conduit very well. They don’t buy a pre-Benz. No self-respecting electrician will ever buy a pre-bent anything they will cut thread, rigid they will bend EMT with a protractor conduit everything IMC all of it will be bent. That’s what a commercial industrial electrician does never using prevents because that cost you way more money I mean, do you know what a 4 inch Erickson cost on a piece of rigid pipe?
If she would like, remove the word "like" from her like vocabulary, she would like sound 1000 times like smarter.

That's cool but this is why Father's have to do a better job. The idea that she feels accomplishments by doing things that MEN do is beyond odd. She should feel accomplished by raising good children for the world. No matter how much she tries she will never be able to do the job Men can do. She just is not strong enough and that is biology. Prior to opening my own company, I worked in freight warehousing for roughly 8 years. I was the top freight loader in the facility, with unmatched records. Whatever y’all THOUGHT was YOURS, well…it was only yours because you wouldn’t let us be a part of it.
