Thank you! I love you so frickin much and this is the first video I watched from you! I've had my 12 year young girl on a brown jasmine rice and chicken diet for over a month now. Long story short, she has a mass on her side and because of that mass she has been getting diharreah. My neighbor is a vet, she helped spay her and take the stitches out.... It's cause of that mass that is giving her bathroom issues. Anyways, I do believe you should actually be a nutritionist for animals. Going forward, you just showed me that I can add zucchini and carrots in a great way! I've been giving her sweet potato for dessert! I literally looked up what else I can cook for her organically, you came right up! Thank you again! I'll be adding in these veggies! Funny note, she used to eat raw carrot straight up as a pup! Not anymore! Go figure! Thank you again!
Thank you so much for these kind words! You are an amazing dog parent and I’m sure your girl appreciates the effort and love you put into her food. They should also be so lucky!
My pit is allergic to meat, any advice on cooking just veggies or not sure what else I can give her, it's so hard to find vegitarian food for dogs who are allergic to meat 😒
Oh that is quite a predicament. You might want to try eggs (if not allergic), beans, cottage cheese, or tofu. Those could all be good sources of protein. Wishing you and your dog the best. 🙏
Unless they are soft - something like a soybean, for example - I cook veggies for my dogs. They don’t have molars, so grinding them up in their mouth isn’t as easy for a dog as it is for us humans. All my best to you and your dog! 🙏
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ABOUT "BAIN MARIE'? EVEN IN A REGULAR POT YOU CAN PUT SONE WATER BOIL THE WATER AN PLACE A GLASS DISH WITH A LID OR EVEN A GLASS JAR WITH A LID FOR A LITTLE TIME AND YOU CAN STEAM THEM THE CORRECT & HEALTHY WAY.!!
is it better nutrient extract from raw or cooked cause the gravy will make the dog eat it and then you wont need to cook it so saving crazy time and get more nutrients someone let me know
Sorry but this is terrible advice and cooking fir your dog , first of all you microwaved the veg which will destroy and goodness vitamins and nutrition and then you added a can of gravy which is processed full of salt and bad stuff , why don't you steam the veg the use the water from the steamed veg to mix with some bone broth to make the gravy , you should do your research before posting videos on how to add veg into your dogs diet , 😢
Mircowaving food is not healthy for humans and no reason to presume dogs wouldn't be the same. The information on radiation is being repressed by both industry and the average lazy person who doesn't want to hear bad things about their habits. Don't eat microwaved food. Good video. Thanks, you seem like a cool guy
Thanks for watching and commenting. Another fantastic way to cook these veggies is by steaming. That method in general is great for nutrient retention. Cheers!
In that case please use the advice you deem best. My dog loves it, and barley is found in even store bought dog food, but ultimately please use your best judgement. Thank you for watching, and my best to your Pack!
The zucchini skin is where all the nutrition is
thanks for making this vid I really need it for my dogs 👏👏👏🥰🥰
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching 🙏
Do u add salt or any thing like that
Yes, I regularly add a bit of table salt when I cook their meals since it has iodine in it, which can prevent goiters. Cheers!
What meat can u use if they can't eat chicken. Every time mine eat chicken they get sick
I’d say try a variety to see what works for your dog. For mine, I feed them everything from poultry and fish to beef heart and kidney.

@@BarkingGoodChef I have to blend mine is one of my dogs don’t like vegetables are off and I think I started them on them too late
Hi. Can we freeze these steamed veggies?
Yes, that should be fine. They’ll probably be a bit mushy once reheated, but I doubt the dog will lodge any complaints with management. 🤪

Some dogs may have difficulty eating raw vegetables, so my method is to cook them before serving. Thank you for watching and all my best to you.

My vet says barley is horrible for dogs
In that case please use the advice you deem best. My dog loves it, and barley is found in even store bought dog food, but ultimately please use your best judgement. Thank you for watching, and my best to your Pack!
Micro ovens food is not dog for animals
If you are uncomfortable with the microwave method, steaming in a pan works great, too. Thanks for watching! 😀
You over process the veggies. . Microwaves kill all the nutrients. Soft veg is only for old dogs. Crunching and chewing is good for dogs.
OH MY GOD!! WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR SWEET LOVING DOGS, KILLER MICROWAVE RADIATED CANCER FOOD!!!!
FOR HEAVES SAKE!!!
