A wonderful video showing vintage motocross from the early 70's . Not only did I find the riders excellent , those cycles were very fast . The course was great and it would have been fun to ride on at any speed . Thanks for showing such a classic , early MX race .
Yeah, I really miss the real motocross days too. I had an SC500, great engine, but my next was a 501 Maico, and the Yamaha was a wheelbarrow compared to that. First owner of my bike sold it after a few rides when it put him in the hospital, was only bike to send me to the ER too.
I had a 71 36O Yamaha with the Black stripes on the Gas Tank......One of the first real MX Dirt Bikes.....it hauled ass my buddies had a125 and the other had a 250 and I had a 360....the King....
Agreed. I climbed off my '72 Yamaha 250 Enduro over Osteen's Parkway here in Cali (bac n the day) and jumped on my friend's Black Tank Yamaha 360 Beast Enduro. My Mind was blown at the brute torque power pulling them hills!
You still can get a old elsinore and race the world famous Elsinore Grand prix it goes down every year in November in the same town 3 days of race fun show up and ride
When I was 15 years old I had a 1974 Yamaha YZ-80-A with a GYT Kit that tripled the power .. My Neighbor let me ride his Yamaha AT-500 I went to all 4 gears with the front wheel about 1 foot off the ground.. that was quite a rush to feel that kind of acceleration Light bike and low seat height for a short kid like me.. Sadly my neighbor that had that bike died in a car crash .. and his Dad sold that bike
This was my era of motocross. I had a 1973 Greeves 380 QUB.
This was such a nice and relaxing video, love it

This footage is just stunning. What a beautiful time and place.
Great memories! :) I would like to go back in time to ride these old machines on a natural track like this.

Oh man that soil😍😍😍😍😍. Beautiful!
I see a 73 TM Suzuki there, sharp lookin' bike!

Fabulous!.. Love to race a track like that, fast nice contour. That sc was fast, really roosted some people on that big hill!.
What fun!
Where I live, in the USA, it is almost all clay soil, but the soil in the video looks great. I’m jealous! 7:46
I owned a 73’. Honda CR250M. Baby hauled ass. I raced open class time to time and never felt out gunned.
Bloody SC500 Yamaha! What a brute. Damn near broke my foot just kickstarting the bastard!
Great stuff...

Amazed at the handling of the yz250a...
The amount of roost coming off the no. 58 makes me think it's an old sc 500.

Amazing stuff, no advertising, no safety gear besides a useless skull cap, no suspension, rubbish brakes, terrible ergonomics but visually fabulous

A real MX track. Looks like Unadilla in NY state
Very fast as yz 500
Oh the music..
Eso si eran motos no las porquerias chinas de ahora
Yamaha was a horrible beast and the Elsinore was a great bike. The Elsinore made everything else obsolete!
