For those curious: crows and ravens keep doing this because they are smart enough to have a sense of self awareness, so they recognize themselves in a reflection, like, for example, the highly reflective lens of a camera. That's why they keep turning their heads in front of it and open their mouths, to look at themselves in different poses.
