OK- that’s ACTUALLY the size of the plastic scale models from my childhood that we would fly around the room making “RRRRRRRRRROAR” noises. If I even had a DREAM about this when I was a kid, I would have been wishing for it for 5 years. We wuz ROBBED!!
Those 400 mm planes are what they are, fun! A little noseway and some trimming. They're an absolute blast in manual mode using the provided TX. At least with my two, Corsair and Spitfire. Thanks for posting. Good vid
Hi Brian.. exactly what you thougt about the steerable tail-wheel i DID with my Eachine 400mm ME 109 - and it works fine! (but you have to be veeery sensible by taxiing😉) To protect the rudder, i added a small pvc-triangle fix into the fuselage, at about the half-wheel height (when landing unintentionally in the grass, maybe the rudder could be teared off otherwise) with this little triangle the rudder is saved anyway - and it works. Greetings from good old Germany! Ps: if someones interested, at "Banggood" you can order this plane for about 82$.. and the other 400mm warbirds, too - or cheaper. Unfortunately no shipping to Germany for this price (i paid 95€), but this tip is for the colleagues in the US.
At 8.50 you mention some advantages but for me I love flying really low and really close to myself for a really amazing flying experience that you can't do as safely with larger models - that is a strength. Lots of videos on my channel if you wish to see. This Eachine 400mm version is 10g lighter (at63g) and perfect compared to the 402mm TopRC version that needed much more throttle or would tip stall easily. I gave my 402mm away. This 400mm with the black eagle head front flies as great as the other Eachine/Volantex/SonikRC 400mm series.
Its almost hitting my "too cold for shorts at work" threshold, here in MD. Highs in the 40s is acceptable. Long pants impeede my ability to climb, when my rc planes have unscheduled tree top landings. I'm all about setting good examples for all of my employees. 👍
2:50. "Hun"!?? What happened to "Camera Crew"? Is it cuz this is a German plane? (buh dump twass!) cute lil plane. 20:57. I wanted to reach in to my monitor and hold that for ya... 36:40.. Please call me when yer havin' yer yard sale.... 41:50. I have a cat too. I get cats..;) 50:12. I think yer gettin' high on yer own supply man.. lol 51:11. The cats would LOOVE to knock THAT over, all full of planes.. another great video.. Thanks guys.
Hm. As i know form my FW190, they are not with brushless, but with coreless motor. Coreless is not brushless, because it has only two wires. I think, "coreless" is a nicer word for "classic E-Motor"...?
The 400mm plane... Love it! If you turn off ad-blockers, they offer to add a 10% discount for volunteering for junkmail, so its a good price for my grandson's Christmas present!! QUESTION: Where can I get a mast and windsock like the one you put up? I love that thing!
have to add something when i saw you with no socks and shorts. We here in Cologne have a pub with the following annoncement outside: "Men with no shirt - no service. Women with no shirt - free drinks.."😂
It does tell that it is a Focke-Wulf b.c. that's what the "FW" stands for :D The ME is for Messerschmidt and sorry, they don't look similar beside of the paintjobs they have most of the time
Ok Brian I think you should do a addendum you said several times that this wasn’t a hobby grade plane ok technically you are correct but do u remember your first flight that you didn’t have to rebuild your plane? I know if in the mid sixties if I could have had this technology and could fly without major issues omg if you want your fans of which I am compare this plane to your first flight I have gave all my grandkids one of these type planes and as far as I know all 7 have had a blast although number 8 can destroy a anvil with a rubber hammer and you are so correct about these I enjoy them too I just got back into Rc and I’m in too deep last count 22 planes thank god no wife god bless
Amen on the aerodrome and hopefully lending a hand to prices coming down which would facilitate the market becoming extremely competitive. It’s a wonderful plan my friend and I truly believe, after watching and paying attention, that you are most definitely the man for the job.I would surely want to fly in The Brian Phillips Aerodrome 🫡

When I stay in one place outside for about 5min I have dogs, cats and ducks hanging out. They just love ya man. Especially if you're eating lunch.
Kurt Tank is one of my favorite German airplane engineers!

Very cool. I take mine to work. Gives me something to do on my breaks. My cross to bare. It's an addiction. Lol
Right on!
Brian I just want to wish you and camera crew and your entire family a Happy Thanksgiving

These are a great inexpensive gateway drug 😂

Very nice - gold star for time stamps. I can follow along nicely!!! Very cool!
So glad to see these with brushless motors. They will last ten times longer, if you don’t kill the plane first lol

49:10 Funny joke from the Camera Crew teaser?
C'mon, Man! 👍

You can also fly these with a full size controller with a multi protocol module using the V761 4 channel protocol.
NIIIIIIIIIIIICE! 😁👍
Hi guys!!!!
Nail polish check, yup.
I want to see this and the other 400 mm in the new brushless 500 mm or the bigger version like the mustangs you reviewed in the last weeks.
My goodness, you have a fortune just in batteries! Lol
When do use the trim controls on the controller? Are the trim controls only useful in expert mode? Disabled in beginner mode?
2-bladed prop gives you 30% more thrust than the 3-blade. 2-blade is longer, wider than the 3-blade.
It does tell that it is a Focke-Wulf b.c. that's what the "FW" stands for :D The ME is for Messerschmidt and sorry, they don't look similar beside of the paintjobs they have most of the time
Can you do a review on the P51 miss helen 500 mm plane give us your thoughts?

Fast 💨……👍🏻
41:00 I'm not a fan of cats. But I am a big fan of the wisdom shared here. We only have so many healthy years.

1:20 Brushless motor?? Really?
Just watching I think that flies way too fast for a beginner. A lot of maneuvering for someone to adjust in between turns etc.
Yeah, slower would be better, but you can fly it - I promise.
