I feel for you. We moved out of our old house five years ago. But it took a year until our house here was ready. When we finally got in this house our living room was stacked to the ceiling with boxes. We downsized a lot and brought way too much. We did have our bed to sleep in. But that was the only room that was done. It took us a few weeks to be able to move through our living room. Actually, my husband did most of the packing before we moved. I just wasn’t feeling well. And we had been going through stuff for a few months before we moved. We lived in our old house 23 years. The attic was full. There was a closet downstairs under the stairs that was big. When we moved here I said I would never move again. But I would like to move to a little bigger place that is flat land. We stayed with our daughter and her family for seven months. She had five kids at the time. And we shared a bathroom with all of them. We did get sick when we lived with them. I really think we had Covid, before they told us about it. My grandson went to school with a lot of foreign children. I had a bad cough for three weeks. Then I got sick. We left not long after that. Then we went to two different hotels for the rest of the time. We have three small dogs and it’s hard to find a place that wants three dogs. I drove down here to Georgia with my youngest daughter and all the dogs. My husband stayed in Ohio and finished packing and driving the truck down. So the dogs and I were here for a few days before my husband made it. I had the power turned off on the day he told me to. So he was cold and had to take cold showers. He could have gone to my daughters who drove me down here. Her husband was home. He wasn’t too happy with me. But I asked him when I should do it and that’s when I did it. He got here late at night and they still had to unload the truck at the storage unit. Which was no way near where we were staying at their house. But close to where we were moving. My husband and I are good at different times of the day. He’s a morning person. And I’m a night owl. So we don’t do things together very well. But we’ve been married for over 47 years. So we get each other’s other.
Great motivation as always ! I hope that if you still have nicer paper clutter like magazines, clothe stores catalogues/flyers or any of old clothes that can't be donated to discard before moving, that it will be filmed while tossing them as I struggle so much to toss any of those things. And thank you for filming again while emptying the trash ahah I don't want to mention everytime, but it's so satisfying to feel the house is fresh and less cluttered, and also because I always hope to see stuff I struggle to toss in those clips 🤭

Hey doing an awesome job, I just helped a friend of mine move, and we labeled all the boxes so they would know what was in the boxes so they would have open up the boxes to find what they needed 😊
I applaud you for the video and everything you did. Just wanted to leave some feedback. I personally like when the cleaning video is narrated while you’re doing it and talk through it. I say this because it’s hard to watch a motivational cleaning video while you’re trying to actually clean. I usually will put something on in background and listen. I realized you answered some questions at the end which was great. Keep doing you! Just figured I would drop a note! 😊happy cleaning.

When we moved cross county, I put neon orange duct tape on top of the packing tape to identify which boxes we needed right away. The rest went into a storage unit. We rented an apartment before we bought a house. We also packed the neon colored boxes to the back of the moving truck because we moved in the day we arrived.

We just moved five weeks ago. Still trying to get my daughter's room painted. In between running her back and forth to work. Then church on Sundays. She's been sleeping in the living room. So our living room isn't like we want it. We've got to get a dining room table and chairs. So I understand where you're coming from. Praying for you all.

Love watching your channel. It's really difficult to move especially when you have small children. And just watching you as you try to figure out what is next to pack. When I moved from CA to Idaho about 6 yrs ago, I had to pack for the house we were renting and packed for what I wasn't going to use to put in the storage, talk about how hard that was and had to really declutter from CA. Still today I have a lot to do. But also it's hard for me especially when I have stomach problems. And we go to pur home in the azores during summer. But it will be ok as long as I tale one day at a time to get done, I hope. Take care and congratulations on your new home but have fun in between until you move to your new home. 😊
