@@candyshairdiary8491~Hello Candy I just came across your videos and I love this technique! My question is- are you braiding those individual plaits or are you 2 or 3 strand twisting them?
I found your channel cuz I want to do the pretty hair your doing and I don't know how to do a cornrow you are a blast and rite to the point with your styles and if you stick on anything you go back and find a way and it looks great. Thanks, pretty lady for helping us out.
Awwww no problem and you're so welcome. You can also use the rubberband method if you can't braid in order to achieve similar styles. You're such a sweetie and I appreciate you for tuning in 🤗
I am so upset this video is just popping up on my feed!!! I love this method. I was going to do the traditional box method and cornrow the rest straight back. Thank you thank you thank you!! 💝💝😊🥰🥰🥰🥰
This braid pattern is a game changer! I'm about to install some box braids and was looking for a different braid pattern because the loops are pretty small and I found this! This will be my new go to braiding pattern! Thanks for sharing sis! You rock!! 🤗❤❤❤
Yesssssssssss! You are so welcome pretty girl! You're gonna love it and everyone is gonna assume you have individuals 😂...double the win! Thanks for tuning in 🤗
Thank you so much! And I honestly have no idea what made me think of this design. I just knew I was kinda turned off from the traditional crochet pattern but I knew I wanted to try crochet lol. Thank you for tuning in!
I think randomly connecting makes for the most natural and less bulky look. The straight back connecting gives a box braid illusion but still a bit "crochetish" look.
Loving this a great idea somewhat part that way when doing boxbraids ..never thought about this for crochet ....just bought this hair and was looking at videos on it and ran into yours. bout to try this now ...Thank you
Yayyyyyyyy glad my video popped up and girl you're gonna love this method! I always get stopped and people thinking I have individuals in my hair lol. The same thing with my clients. It's definitely been a game changer and the only way I put my crochets in. Thanks for taking the time out to tune in 🤗
Lol I got you sis. Ok so I honestly have not did the Senegalese twist with this method yet but I'm more than confident it would still come out good. The size of your parts are gonna key in your outcome though. The smaller the size twist you have then the smaller you'll probably need to part and section your hair. Plus it'll give you a fuller look with this random braid pattern method. Just be delicate on your edges.
It will make a difference....not drastically but there will be a difference simply because I personally don't like the definite part uniform look. Nothing wrong with it of course but I like the random free part look so this pattern gives you that.
@@candyshairdiary8491 Aslo, when u do your braid pattern with the individuals, instead of connecting them just leave them out and crochet the hair into the crochet hair? And then do the back regular. Idk if my question make sense lol
@@latashapayne6333 Ahhhhhhhh yes this made perfect sense lol. I've done it that way but found that technique to be a little more tedious and added to my time installing and taking them out 🥴. For me timewise I like styles I can just crochet right on in and cut right on out without having to guess how far down to cut without cutting my hair. Plus this toddler of mine keeps me on my toes lol so any extra time doing my hair....he ain't with it 🤣😂🤣😂
Nice, please make a video explaining more or maybe I missed it...I crochet all the time and do single braids too .I think you're saying to make the parts and don't connect straight back, connect in a way that the connection braid cannot be seen by adding them up or any way possible except straight back in line where a crochet braid will lie...I hate using the connection method on myself but single braids are heavy especially on the edges, your end result looks great ❤
Hey pretty girl 🙋🏽♀️! YesI will definitely make a new detailed video on this! But you got the gist of it. I randomly connect the single braids.....not so much to hide the braid but to give it a more "individually braided" look when it falls however it may....if that makes sense. I came up with this pattern because I personally don't like a definite part....like a definite side part or a definite middle part. I like my braids to just fall freely when I flip them side to side or when I put them in a bun or ponytail. I don't know if I'm sounding confusing or not 😅 but I will definitely be making a new video about this soon 👍🏼. I appreciate you tuning in ☺
@@candyshairdiary8491 No you make sense, I get it but I think a newbie may have a hard time..I just did the bohemian braids from Amazon on myself with plain corn braids and on my cousin using the connection method straight back but I think if I would have done it like this it would've been a little more invisible...either way all of ours look good but I'll def try your way this wkend, TY so much, keep it up ❤
Thank you so much😊! Its made by Zury and I got it at my local beauty supply store. I thought they sold it maybe on Amazon but I don't see it on there so just look up "Zury Sis Naturali Star V.9.10.11 One Pack Enough Synthetic Crochet Braids - Passion Twist" and a few beauty sites pop up that have it. Hope this helps and thank you so much for tuning in!
This is such a smart crochet braiding pattern! No one would ever be able to tell these aren’t singles.
Thank you 😊! Everyone most definitely seems to think I have individuals when I do this method 😆

Would it make a big difference if you connected the braids either straight bk or just random?
It will make a difference....not drastically but there will be a difference simply because I personally don't like the definite part uniform look. Nothing wrong with it of course but I like the random free part look so this pattern gives you that.
