Love the look. I never trust packs that say it can do a full head and girl every time someone says you're younger looking, enjoy the compliment because it slows up quick. Great job.
I’m older than I look- I loved the fact that u mentioned the hairline can thin with age! I have been thinking the same thing recently, bc I am natural, no color, no tension on my edges ever, but that thinning is REAL!! Just leaving it out where u see thinning is a great idea, I’m going to try it 🙂
Um, who doesn’t want to look younger! When you’re in your 50’s, that’s all you think about so will definitely give these a try, especially while in quarantine. You look beautiful!
Thanks for the detailed video! Beautiful job! 👏🏾👏🏾🥰 Adding some oil to the rubber bands before install is a good tip I got from other youtubers to reduce breakage!
This crochet method is more time-efficient than the individual passion twists, but I love both methods! Your hair is lovely. My edges are also thinning as I age.
thank u 4 slowing down the process, and getting up close, so we could see how to do it! your video is awesome, and i will be rewatching it until i learn how to do my granddaughter's hair this week! I am so excited to try it, and if it comes out nice, i will then do my own, with some cute honey blonde twists! u did a great job!!
Thank you for the simple tutorial, I will definitely use your technique when I do my 20 year old daughter’s hair! Less time braiding & twisting is awesome! Thanks for showing us how you secured the back also with the crochet hook. 👍🏽😃❤
So cute! I thought I was the only one who wants the grown woman look but enjoys this type of style (I cut my loss off so box braids and rope twists are now my go tos) ...I'm still trying to find the balance of looking my age with hairstyles. You are so beautiful and even more so in purple. Peace and Blessings 💜
If you are here and you haven’t giving your life fully to Christ please don’t hesitate to do so.Time is not on our side.is either you are all out or all in.be serious with your walk with God..God loves you🙏🙏❤️❤️
Hey, I recently tired this method having an undercut. It was pretty easy to do and my hair on top is about 2-3inches. The hair I used was 6inch Bob Spring Twist.
I did not like it at first but you pulled it together beautifully in the end. You did a wonderful job. It helped me to know how to be creative on a style I may not like that I do myself. Your an Artista for sure! Kudos
Turned out really pretty. Your make up was spot on. I have been going back in forth with what protective styles to use, I think you just helped me. Thank you for sharing. Again turned out really pretty.
This is really pretty! Love the color too. I used to do this 20 yrs ago when it was called "latch hook", but w/braids. This method looks so much faster & easier. Great job! Please do a tutorial for the makeup. Purple is my color!
Yesssssss!!! You did that! Im about to do a crochet style in my hair for the first time on myself. And i will definitely be using ur rubberband and twist method.
I saw this same pack in the hair store the other day and wondered about it. Review right on time for me. I think I’m a month later just found your channel and so happy that I did. Keep em coming girl. You should do a tutorial on your makeup look. Purple is my fav and you rocked it! 💜
This is so nice. I'm glad to finally see a video using this technique where a braid/twist is crocheted where the hair links. I've seen plenty where that's not the case & I can't understand why. It doesn't look as natural to me.
Thanks for your advice. You kept the video short and to the point! Love it. I have been looking for a easy to follow tutorial and you just provided it!🙂💕💗
Hi! GREAT idea to lay your edges first! I'm recovering from traction alopecia and am always worried about further damaging my edges... never thought to lay them first..love it! Also love the technique minus the rubberbands. I recently learned from youtuber Kim Neema, you can obtain the same effect by braiding the twist hair into the box braid. It gives a more natural look and you can still be versatile with how you style the front. Awesome video, you look gorgeous! Thanks again.
Finally .! Someone breaks it down . I came across your RUclips channel and I’m definitely a subscriber.! I can tell you gon teach me some things .! Thanks soooo much .
OMGoddessss!!! You are awesome and I love ur videos my step daughter is mixed and has been asking for this style. Thanks to you I can confidently make my baby more beautiful. Keep making videos!!!
Thank you for this. I brought the hair months ago and been dreading asking my mom or sis in law to braid my hair. I think I can do this I will update you.
Me too felicia! by the way, i am a "felicia" too! I am 51, and had been rocking my low cut for a few years, but i love this look, for date night, weddings, etc;
Thanks for doing such a close up so we could see how you crochet the hair in..and the rubberband method I really think I could do that style....Thanks!!❤
I love your content, I’m new to Dallas and will be opening my braid suite soon. You motivate me and I know I will be able to braid full time very soon. Thanks for sharing
Yesssss I love it!!! I mean really what can’t you do Mrs. Vandy. I just started my channel and I really just want document my journey but baby these internet ppl have me second guessing my decision
Yesssss I love the passion twist natural look!!! And I really like how you did the foundation of it. I’m not a Braider so this is definitely a plus for me because I like to try different things in my hair and I’m definitely trying this look on myself this weekend. I currently have a tea so I’ll have to use some braiding hair to do the twists and rubber bands like how you did. Thanks for this video and you look fabulous by the way 🤩🤩🤩
Oh WOW! I really like the look and the whole technique. Now I have a great look to copy and it was so easy! Thank you for sharing.! Now I can do something different besides my usual "box braids" which I love wearing. This is a perfect look I can go for!!?❤️💯
I would love to see more in depth on how you created the braid pattern. Especially how you combined the hair to create rows in the back of your head. I seem to make the rows in the back too far apart. I’m still learning how to judge the right number of braids for the person’s head size.
You would do it along your part line. For every row you can choose to continue the part straight down to your nape (bottom of your neck) for every row or every two rows in the front. ☺️ if this doesn’t help let me know I’ll try to explain better
Love the look. I never trust packs that say it can do a full head and girl every time someone says you're younger looking, enjoy the compliment because it slows up quick. Great job.
I fell ya 😅
Yesss cause I low key think I could do this but i don’t know what to do in back 😂
The style looks pretty. What is the color of the hair , it is mixed with two colors?

Finally a crochet method that doesn’t untwist the twist just to re-twist it. Ty!
For real 😂 it took me a while to find this one because everyone else kept doing the untwist version
I agree 💯%
YES!
Yes!!! Ugh
THISSSSSSS
Bruh... Ma'am you are a COLD piece. Do you understand you have mastered the arts!?
Your skills are legendary.
Thank you for this quick style. 45 minutes for the base and less for the install. Awesome.
I’m older than I look- I loved the fact that u mentioned the hairline can thin with age! I have been thinking the same thing recently, bc I am natural, no color, no tension on my edges ever, but that thinning is REAL!! Just leaving it out where u see thinning is a great idea, I’m going to try it 🙂
Thank you so much for being upfront and honest for those of us that are not in our twenties
Um, who doesn’t want to look younger! When you’re in your 50’s, that’s all you think about so will definitely give these a try, especially while in quarantine. You look beautiful!

Thanks for the detailed video! Beautiful job! 👏🏾👏🏾🥰
Adding some oil to the rubber bands before install is a good tip I got from other youtubers to reduce breakage!
Gorgeous!!!! Just gorgeous!!!
Ok. I'm going to start using this technique in the salon. 25 year old me had the patience but 35 year old me wants to get this done in 2 hours...lol
Without the makeup the style made you look young. Enjoy it the look looks great on you.
This crochet method is more time-efficient than the individual passion twists, but I love both methods! Your hair is lovely. My edges are also thinning as I age.
I love your hair! You actually have edges boo! And that color you have on your hair didn’t even damage it. So thick and long and healthy
So simple to do. The best simple instructions I’ve watched in a long time. I’m going to try this. Great video 🥰
I love your channel because as I get older I wanna go to cosmetology school. And all your videos is really giving me motivation to do hair💕💕
Go for it! It's never too late. 😉
I can't wait to try this...thank you. I would've loved to see the install in the back but I'm going to give it a try

Hey, I recently tired this method having an undercut. It was pretty easy to do and my hair on top is about 2-3inches. The hair I used was 6inch Bob Spring Twist.

I did mine like this years ago. My hands flared up from RA and I did it like this for ease. Didn't even know it would become popular
Yesssssss!!! You did that! Im about to do a crochet style in my hair for the first time on myself. And i will definitely be using ur rubberband and twist method.
