I loved the Goku fighting scene, sent me back to the dragon ball tournament days. Seeing him hop all over the place was awesome. Super has been getting better and better each week.

Wow, wow, wow, just watched the episode and i have to say, yeah, though there were a couple of bad spots with the animation for the most part, it has REALLY improved. The next ep looks really good as well. I really like the style of the artist who did the action scenes, he also did the animation when they showed Goku and Vegeta training in the hyperbolic time chamber for 3 years. His style really captures that speed and intensity in DBZ fights. I also believe he's done some work in Naruto Shippuden. For example, like that flash back of a young Obito snapping once he saw Rin die. Now I know that this is about to sound so bias due to obvious reasons, but I love Goku's fighting style. Well, of course always have but in this episode it is really highlighted how much of master he is. His approaches to Hit were gorgeous. Many always rip Goku as far as his intelligence and in that, is why so many say that can't stand him but that's the beauty of Goku. Yeah, he may be simple minded at times but when it's necessary, he is a genius.
The art was off at times but the animation and fight choreography was spot on. I love the style of animation in the action scenes, and I was too thinking it reminded me of some fight scenes from Nartuto Shippuden.
You have to understand Super Saiyan doesn't make you much faster or stronger. I mean what's the modifier from base form to God? 1.7? 1.83? But seriously it's stuff like this that should be so simple but for some reason is so hard for them. If SSJB can't make you fast enough to slow down things and break the technique down then base form has no chance. Not to mention that the power behind each hit would be destructive.
I've been saying for weeks that Monaka is a fraud, reasons why: 1. When Monaka was introduced, Piccolo and Vegeta said they couldn't sense anything from Monaka 2. He passed out at Goku's kamehameha 3. Once Goku was back in the tournament, he asked Beerus if he could fight after Monaka and Beerus started sweating and said *Monaka has to be last no matter what*(because Beerus is hoping that Goku or Vegeta win so they didn't find out the truth) 4. Beerus was completely fine with Goku or Vegeta winning the tournament(If Monaka was the strongest, why not have faith in him instead of Goku and Vegeta?)
+Sage Naruto ROFLLL yah the whole Monaka still has me laughing ROFLLL. His power level must be in the negatives for him to pass out at Goku's Kamehameha. Did you see the way he freaked out at Vegeta transforming into an SSGSS? ROFLLLL funniest stuff ever.
As a Vegeta fan, I am not disappointed with this episode... He went in their blind, not knowing a thing about his opponent, and he left the same way... Vegeta has grown a lot since first introduced, he was able to just walk away calmly without making a fuss, he admits his loss... Great Episode...

Then the two proceed to fuse but because Broly is stronger he takes over the fusion and slaughters everyone. Right before the episode ends we see Bardock and Future Trunks teleport in about to fuse to try and stop the monster.

It is made by making a normal fist and then extending the knuckle of your forefinger forward and using the thumb to support it. Generally, the phoenix eye fist is used to strike pressure points.

That animation was F'ing dynamic! The perspectives and "shots" were unreal. At times the animation looked crazy, like Samurai Champloo or something. I'm a huge Vegeta fan, but this shit is on point for the second episode in a row.
What if Hit wins, then the bluff; Monaka comes to fight and obviously gets defeated because he's weak, but hits attack was so powerful it killed Monaka which means universe 6 gets disqualified, this would obviously piss Hit and Champa off
Another point we all should notice is the gift Hit may receive from Champa which is a cube to go anywhere. Any universe. A hitman with that kind of thing makes him next villain
Honestly, this is probably the most UNSURPRISING surprising reveal ever. Toriyama, was the throwing ALL the evidence in the world at you guys that Monaka was weak. The character design, the fact that he's a always by Jaco in the tournament, the fact that he was teary eyed when Goku punched him, the fact that he passed out when he saw Goku's kamahameha, the fact that Beerus said not to disturb him, because he'll blow up the planet( Since when does Beerus give a crap about a planet blowing up?) and the fact that he was SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS! when he experienced Vegeta's SSGSS form. But you guys who thought that he was strong didn't want to believe what you were seeing and wanted to believe that he was strong. However, that doesn't escape the fact that the reason they gave why he was there was incredibly lazy and stupid. Both Goku and Vegeta wanted to pass Beerus/Whis in the first place. You don't need some unknown stupid-looking character to "motivate" them. This was just a loophole for Goku to come back in and save the day with his greatest power......plot convenience. Honestly, you guys HAVE TO be frustrated with Toriyama's and the TOEI writers lazy writing, none of this Arc makes any sense whatsoever, they reveal one thing, but then they contradict it in the next few episodes. Maybe it's time Toriyama gives the reigns of the DB franchise to Toyotaro or something. Or would we just get another GT if that happened?.

That was episode 35 when Whis said that. Since the official sub came out for episode 38, Whis said Monaka is a total amateur used to motivate Goku and Vegeta to do better.
Even before coming here to read the review of this episode, I knew that something was up regarding Monaka based on Piccolo's reaction and telling Goku that they're counting on him. Also, Videl was always there like in the manga.
Hits fighting style kinda reminds me of when the Z fighters attacked Beerus on earth and he was hitting them in specific locations with the chop sticks

What if Hit wins, then the bluff; Monaka comes to fight and obviously gets defeated because he's weak, but hits attack was so powerful it killed Monaka which means universe 6 gets disqualified, this would obviously piss Hit and Champa off
the one thing I didn't like about the episode is that everytime Hit hits someone the screen go black

Another point we all should notice is the gift Hit may receive from Champa which is a cube to go anywhere. Any universe. A hitman with that kind of thing makes him next villain
Honestly, this is probably the most UNSURPRISING surprising reveal ever. Toriyama, was the throwing ALL the evidence in the world at you guys that Monaka was weak.
The character design, the fact that he's a always by Jaco in the tournament, the fact that he was teary eyed when Goku punched him, the fact that he passed out when he saw Goku's kamahameha, the fact that Beerus said not to disturb him, because he'll blow up the planet( Since when does Beerus give a crap about a planet blowing up?) and the fact that he was SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS! when he experienced Vegeta's SSGSS form.
But you guys who thought that he was strong didn't want to believe what you were seeing and wanted to believe that he was strong.
However, that doesn't escape the fact that the reason they gave why he was there was incredibly lazy and stupid. Both Goku and Vegeta wanted to pass Beerus/Whis in the first place. You don't need some unknown stupid-looking character to "motivate" them.
This was just a loophole for Goku to come back in and save the day with his greatest power......plot convenience.
Honestly, you guys HAVE TO be frustrated with Toriyama's and the TOEI writers lazy writing, none of this Arc makes any sense whatsoever, they reveal one thing, but then they contradict it in the next few episodes. Maybe it's time Toriyama gives the reigns of the DB franchise to Toyotaro or something. Or would we just get another GT if that happened?.

+Ham Willkuns Lmao. To be honest I don't know what to think of Gohan. His absence is strange. Everyone is there. Even Videl and mr satan are there. That makes me think Gohan will be the one to appear when Champa goes crazy. The reason for his absence is a bit weird anyway, I feel like there has to be something more to that.
Even in original Dragon Ball, half a second's opening is like an eternity. At this level, Hit has one hell of a technique.

If you were really surprised that Monaka was a fraud, then idk what to say. Was pretty obvious when he was so shocked to see the kamehameha from Goku that he passed out, and why Beerus was all nervous when trying to convince Goku to go after Vegeta instead of going last.

That was episode 35 when Whis said that. Since the official sub came out for episode 38, Whis said Monaka is a total amateur used to motivate Goku and Vegeta to do better.
Even before coming here to read the review of this episode, I knew that something was up regarding Monaka based on Piccolo's reaction and telling Goku that they're counting on him. Also, Videl was always there like in the manga.

So many Vegeta fans now calling the show a joke, shit, garbage etc, but last week they where saying it's great. I'm a Vegeta fan from the beginning but I'm still loving this show.

The training is allowing Goku to use his brain. Remember Goku is always letting his guard down, so someone who can skip time will make him be more TENSE when fighting therefore stopping him from having time to drop his Guard.
