Got mine yesterday. Will use it to go to work from tomorrow!
My e-Brompton has a range of only 20 km after three years of use (originally it was 25). Has anyone an idea how to increase this range? Maybe some other battery?
we could add more features to improve --do existing functions better--please get back--I purchased my P Line electric in August,2022

@@bromptonbicycle We should make Bromptons more stable for ride on trains,when kept folded--that is Easy wheel extension of high quality made by Brompton company itself and then larger 82mm wheels(this is an arbitary size/this is the one ,I purchased recently to give my P line better glide when coming out of train stations and to make it more portable--you can think of this in your design team).
Some sort of abiltiy to charge the battery while going down a slope and when paddling if one wants and regenerative charging with braking. These are a few. Will come-up with more suggestions as, I use my Brompton more often now--now that, I have got better function with the larger easywheels .
Please do not make restrictions for Geographic areas ,as to which model they can buy etc. I am located in Australia and ,I cant get a P Line so ,I had to take the trouble of getting to a colleague then via Fedex etc. [I had to purchase a new batter here,as, I presumed getting battery in flight will not be a good idea. Hence bougth a new battery here. ]
Took so much trouble to get a Brompton and then thouse features that are advertised such as gliding and stablility are missing/not so impressive and to make it impressive ,I had to get proper easy wheels. If this had been done to start with with the Original Product--it would really be impressive when the product is , as is advertised and then as idealised(based on those advertisements) by potential customer like me .
