Practicing Lineart!

Hello hello!
I have been wanting to tackle my gripe with lineart! So I did a few drawings of Ike to test out what I didn't like about my lineart! I have been using my sketch kind of like my linework for a few years but I wanted to revisit lineart genuinely to see if I can make it to my liking! I think I just needed to work a bit bigger and slower so I can make the lines thinner and more detailed!
Hope you enjoy today's drawing session! Next time I will attempt to do this in Procreate as I find linework to be difficult using the ipad!

I like how you did the linework; some thin while certain areas have a thickness. I try to work like that myself, but still need practicing 🙂; I also find changing the color for specific parts interesting too. It makes those areas look softer, but that's another one I continue to practice with...especially when doing it traditionally. So used to using black lines, but gradually going away from that.

I'm good at lineart with traditional art but with digital art it ends up looking sloppy. When I found your channel I thought about skipping linart myself for that reason but after watching this video inspired to keep practicing and find a way of doing lineart in a way I like.

I know you might not have the chance to see this comment, but I just wanted to say that I've been always watching your draw with me/iPad asmr videos ever since you posted an asmr video where you're drawing Keqing at that time, which helped me greatly in improving my art. I always watched your iPad drawing videos, and my favorite ones back then we're your asmrs since they're so satisfying to watch. Coming back here again after a long break from RUclips and watching all of your videos from months ago, I don't know why but my eyes were tearing up seeing the improvement in your art so far. 😭

When i do line art it always ends up looking sloppy and whenever I try to do a traight line then I stop and continue drawing the line it's always a mess and I didn't start where I ended so your line art is literally perfect it's 💯perfect how long did it take for you to be able to do that
