I consider Hans Zimmer to be one of the most talented composers alive. Perhaps the most, even. He composed this without knowing anything about the project. Chris Nolan just told him to make something extraordinary and awe-inspiring. This is what he produced from that.
The man is a musical legend.

If you ever do get the chance to see it in IMAX I very highly suggest it, it's worth the high ticket price and the audio is actually curated for IMAX theaters so you'll get a lot more clarity and oomph out of it in the theater. Let me tell you, if the "No Time for Caution" scene had you gripped on a plane, you'll be floored by the experience in the theaters. It's unforgettable, the shaking of the walls, the absolute EMINENCE of the sounds and the music, you can't hear anything else and it's one of the most wonderful and stressful scenes in film history for that reason.

That the Nolan brothers had the intelligence and imagination to write this screenplay and invite Hans Zimmer to compose the eloquent soundtrack to accompany it-its just miraculous, and so inspiring. 🙏🏼

I can't explain it but the emotions this brings out of me is incredible. Truly a masterpiece. It's one of those rare moments in someone's life where art reaches someone's soul for the 1st time. It sets you free.

Agree. It's pure magic and emotions.
Look for how this music came about from behind the scenes.
It's mind-blowing since he did not know the main story or the scenes.
That's watching a genius at work while he's creating. Incredibly moving to watch.

O tempo da terra, e seus ciclos não vão permitir. Porém essa música, e como tantas outras, vão permacer ecoando no espaço-tempo. As estrelas sucumbirão e essa música, ainda vai está viajando na imensidão do espaço.

The feeling of the inner-beauty and futility of one tiny light in the awe of all creation. We are of it, and yet we are an indelible part of it all. We are born and so we shall pass.
    Right now, we live.
I love how this composition collapses in on itself at the end. Every inferred note rings out all together and fades.
