    Just curious, what happened to the air intake from the earlier bobber build? did you not like it?

  • @faithbiker8262
    @faithbiker8262 7 лет назад +1

    I always wondered how they did that. I would love to have a older bike that I can turn into a bobber. Great videos!

      faith biker thanks brother its a number of small things that seem to make it rather than one big thing unless you are putting a hard tail kit in or the likes! Thanks for the kind words!

    I was curious...but then as soon as the video started, I saw the Blue bucket.
    FINALLY, someone who's doing it right. Too many vids out there doing it dry.
    Has been the plan for Ages, but I'll do my Xv One-Day, the zed also has to be done and I'm curious if it would look good on the Sr??
    I prefer stainless steel wire to hold it on though. Tis neater imo.
    TFS iRide, uRSOT >:)

      MrFalloffalot CrashTestDummy TV i love exhaust wrap think it looks great. On some bikes i use black as its a bit more understated. I cant even imagine doing it dry. Be like installing roof insulation!!!! Think any bobber chopper brst or cafe looks cool with it! Thanks mate take care!

    would it not be faster to remove the pipes before wrapping or ? .. was a serious question not a diss :D .. hooked on these vids haha

    • @iRidetas
      @iRidetas  6 лет назад

      Nope dont reckon. And the fact they are mounted allows you to pull against the weight of the bike to pull them nice and tight!

    • @Ladosligese
      @Ladosligese 6 лет назад +1

      good point .. gathering info like hell here :D looking to buy a xvs 650 and the info here transfers over i guess

    • @iRidetas
      @iRidetas  6 лет назад

      Some of yes general things like tjat and bobbing guards etc. 650 is shaft 250 is chain.

    • @Ladosligese
      @Ladosligese 6 лет назад +1

      prefer shaft .. dunno why :D .. just like that look a bit more . loss in a little bit of power for the looks .. ah well ment to be cruising anyways

    • @iRidetas
      @iRidetas  6 лет назад

      Shaft is lower maintanence and very direct! Cant mess with the gearing tho as a downer

    Remove the exhaust from the bike..... much better application and tighter wrap.

    • @iRidetas
      @iRidetas  4 года назад +1

      Ive found the opposite, you can pull againt the weight of the bike and get it nice an tight, particularly wet. But ill give it a go again. Cheers!

    Wrapping exhausts.. covering up beautiful chrome- to make them look like an extetnal plumbers water pipe to stop them from bursting in tbe winter.
    How ridiculous!.. and the worse craze ever- that's certainly NOT hip!

      +Gary Millar each to their own mate!

  • @64fairlane305
    @64fairlane305 3 года назад

    My advice is do not do this bcs the exhaust will rust up a lot faster this way

    • @iRidetas

      Lol, ive had many many bikes over the years all wrapped and my supercharged car, never had an issue, but cheers
