Definitely need to weigh it because ours has never been anywhere close to the trailers gross weight rating when fully loaded. We never tow with water in the tanks because it adds so much weight and that adds extra fuel consumption. If we need water we'll add it close to our destination.

Ok so my F250 has a 10,000 lb GVWR and a 3366 payload cap. The weight of my truck with me and cargo is 7550 and I am looking at a travel trailer which is 8300. Am I ok with that or do I need something smaller?
what about payload, do you think an F450 could handle a 4700 pound pin weight for a Luxe 48FB Toyhauler, I think the payload for an F450 4X4 is 5600 Pounds ? The trailer weighs 21000 pounds thanks

@@NationalRVTrainingAcademy so Mr RV fix a guy What do you know about water pumps in an RV have a slight little problem our stopped working and the red indicator light went out even though the switch was on sometimes the light flickers and the pump still doesn't work is it the pump or the switch or something in between? Just joking about the name I know your name is Todd I don't usually have problems like this but for some reason this thing is stumping me please help? Also a short time later The light came back on and the pump started working The last time it happened we drove the trailer home and now everything works.
@@whatdoyouthinktodd so with the little bit of info you provided. It sounds like a loose connection on the 12v side. Intermittent operation is textbook loose or corroded connection.
@@NationalRVTrainingAcademy Thank you very much You got back to me faster then the three dealerships I called 2 days ago which still haven't got back to me they're willing to sell me a pump and I may just buy one because it's 10 years old but it would be nice to have somebody that actually would care enough to call you back. thank you maybe they need to go to the academy to get trained then you could slap some sense until them 🤣
