I use the Archfiend of Dross in my deck despite Sheoldread because the evasive damage and because he hits if I kill a creature, and all for 4 mana!! so is insane! I win more than I loose with that creature and that's enough for me. It worth it!
Man, if that gruul delirium opponent had saddled before sacking the beastie to torch your glissa, they would’ve dealt a minimum 6 additional damage, you woulda been in trouble!
I think they just end up at 1 that way cause the draw is at the end of turn. But ultimately it didn't matter. We were in pretty strong control of that game either wya.
I always wondered why ability wise they went with stun counters to bring back the slasher. Movie killer logic seems like they could have maybe done something else like finality counters or something like that
From a game standpoint it just woulda been some bullspit to let it attack again immediately haha...but from a flavor standpoint it kinda makes sense. In horror movies when they finally "hurt" the antagonist, he's usually just stunned for a bit, but he's never truly "killed" permanently...he always comes back
@@bittermin3148 Maybe a unique exile type of effect, like it doesn’t return the turn but the next turn type deal. But I do see the stun counter logic the way you state it

@@tonythepokemonguy751 yeah, maybe exiled with an impending counter since that's the theme of the set
