You have very thorough videos sir. I haven't pulled the trigger on a DTF printer yet, but I did the research. Still busy with this stitch grind. I do have a question on where you will be using the printer. My garage is hot in the summer so I've decided to keep the printer in a bedroom when I get one. Does the printer call for a humidifier? Also, with the white ink mixer, can you leave the printer alone for days at a time? If so, do you have to do some preventative maintenance other than the daily and weekly that Prestige says you have to do? Thank you for the informative videos and for your time.
it has an auto cleaning system when it cleans every 4 hours when left idle (power on) me personally I would maybe isolate the machine somewhere where you can control the humidity but at the same time know that the machine itself creates humidity when printing, making sure to if its in a room that that room is well ventilated and has proper exhaust for fumes and powder particles, this would be a normal condition no matter where it is placed
I went to buy this printer the R2 bundle and they got a prestige R2 pro bundle they said it better than the R2 but it more expensive I’m confused now because I don’t know which one to buy they said it better and more easily to maintain and print a whole lot better then the R2
@lookup2705 it basically comes down to different print heads the pro has newer epson 2023 printheads but they also cost alot more and when you look at sq ft per hour print wise its 25 sq ft vs 35 sq ft...thats the only differance.... its a little bit faster but is it enough to justify the higher cost? thats up to your print needs from my research the R2 pro printheads have 1600 nozzles @ 600 npi 4 channels vs the R2 @ 1080 nozzles @ 360 npi 6 channels 1440 dpi ... it comes down to small differances feature wise the printer is the same housing wise
ok that make sense now I just stick with the R2 bundle like the one you got that all I need to kick my business to the next level I also coming from being an heavy equipment operator trying to start my own business it new to me but I know I can do it thanks you very much
You rock James!!
only when Metallica is on lol!!
Are you familiar with the sub ink sensor? Tech’s have never heard of the code in Discord. I printed for one day
I am not familiar with this sensor, I guess the techs need to get on it lol
Can you help with a clogged head? It’s leaving lines in the designs
