In this fantastic episode of The Ranveer Show, we welcome our TRS All-Star Rajarshi Nandy. A "TRS all-star" is a term my team and I are incredibly cautious of using, as said in the introduction of the video, Rajarshi Nandy was a guest whom I can vouch for. He is someone who has an ocean of knowledge and experience, the clarity of his knowledge is truly incredible.
Shri Rajarshi Nandy is a Sadhaka par excellence and an adherent of the Sanatan Dharma. He is a speaker, columnist, and author on Hindu spiritual practices. He has co-authored a paper named "Tantra and Modern Neuroscience: Is there any co-relation?" which was published in Neurology India magazine. .. Based on experiences and interactions with different Yogis and Sadhaks, the book also contains an exploration of some common and uncommon deities from different branches of Hinduism.
Please feel free to drop your thoughts about the podcast on any of our socials, what other topics would you like for us to cover, guest suggestions, and anything you would want us to improve on. My team and I are always looking for your feedback. Thank you for all the support.

@basubasu8265 ☝️ seconded! Hanuman can dispel all fear. If you are drawn to the Mother, thats a viable path too. I struggled with anger and fear all my life, until I found Sanatana Dharma and surrendered myself at the feet of Maa Kali in all her forms. Your approach to life will be transformed if you truly believe what you do. No rituals necessary, only spending time in good company of other genuine spiritual seekers, and bhakti to the Mother. I hope one day to find my own guru, but my Mother provides in her own time when I need.

Monday 7 August 2023 Ascending Dwapar year 323: In true spirituality there is no existence of destruction or death as Parambraham (God) the indestructible ubiquitous energy (consciousness) has become all including the illusory (Mayavee) cosmos. Therefore, the question of removal or separation or distancing does not exist. Through the practice of deep meditation on God, the seeker of the truth of existence is able to replace the illusory concepts of life e.g. death, disease, obstacles, etc. of self and the society. Any religious or spiritual practices that do not lead to union / oneness, unconditional acceptance and service to all are incomplete.

I recently began exploring Sanātana Dharma again and so many issues you both spoke about spoke directly to my heart and my own experiences as a person who left Christianity and adopted paganism. I have heard constantly that we need a guru to grow and develop but never why, and Sri Nandy helped me understand so much. He also helped reveal to me my own mistakes that I have made spiritually and otherwise and I cannot wait to hear more.

yes, sanatan path is guru led. But guru should be someone who has attained samaadhi. samaadhi means who has gone beyond time and this is only the only test of a real guru. Never rush to find a guru because you will only get cons and clowns in name of guru.

To follow Hinduism or Sanatan Dharma you don't need to have any Guru... Sir Nandy was taking about another different extreme path of Hinduism, which is more complicated and deep dark path of Hinduism, which 99.999% of Indian Hindus don't follow, even don't know about that narrow extreme side of worshipping the extreme powers. And to follow this rare path one needs to have Guru, that's what Nandi Sir was talking about.

    • @ilikestarsun
      @ilikestarsun Год назад +4

@@smilealways6708yes but regardless we all have and need the guideance of a guru. He was just emphasizing how important it is in that path, but even the other paths we need a guru to tread the path safely and securely. You can walk without a master but you will not know for certain if your doing good or not or if you need to change something or start something. Guru clears the way and shows the way. Without the Guru many times we lie to ourselves and think we are doing good cuz our ego wants to feel we are spiritual, (like he mentioned during story of the dream). For walking the path safely, securely, and with direct guidance, it is necessary a Guru. Like he says in the podcast even the Avatars have to learn from the Guru, although they are already God, they show us what needs to be done

Hi Ranbeer.. I'm from guwahati, Assam and a big fan of your show and Rajarshi Nandi sir. I'm writing this comment because I visited Maa Kamakhya temple yesterday, and it was my 4th or 5th visit to the temple. And it's always a blissful experience. There are Dasamahavidya temples near the main Kamakhya Devi temple and amongst them i had only visited Maa Bagalamukhi temple earlier. And the energy of the temple is very high. But yesterday when i came out of the Kamakhya Devi temple, for the first time I noticed Maa Tara temple, which was right in front of Maa Kamakhya temple but i had never noticed. As i saw the temple i couldn't stop myself from visiting the garva griha of the temple. And you know I went there with a wish but i couldn't tell anything to Maa Tara , but just kept on chanting Jai maa Tara. Then again for the first time I visited Maa Kali temple, which was again next to Maa Tara temple, and i am telling you the energy of the temple was so high at the garva griha. My tears rolled out and you have to touch the actual mandapa of the garva griha while you pray. And i don't know why my mind said Maa am i pure enough to touch you. And there were sacrificed heads of goats offered to Mata, by seeing which I felt uneasy earlier but yesterday it was not like that. I felt so connected to Maa Kali. Then we visited Maa Bagalamukhi temple, and it was a blessed experience as always. I don't know why Ranbeer but i wanted to share this with you and when i was on my way to the temple i kept on thinking about Rajarshi Nandi sir.
It was a very blessed experience..
    Jay Maa Kamakhya 🙏

Thank you for an amazing and insightful interview! I am an American with recent roots from Southern Germany, Flanders, and Northwest Spain who has awakened to and follows his Ancestral Pagan path. That has made me appreciate Sanatana Dharma even more, a living transmission of the most ancient Tradition, with so many similarities to what we European Pagans would've also had if not conquered and converted. The power of mantras, cultivating an actual sadhana, the highly-advanced and developed arguments for Vedic Polytheism (and other levels of Sanathana Dharma) are an inspiration for many like me. Cling to this beautiful Tradition, teach and spread it, make this knowledge and awareness accessible - and all those forces seeking to destroy the Vedas (a futile endeavor) will immediately melt because they cannot stand up against this beautiful Tradition that has withstood time and preserved itself. I especially appreciate the deeper mystical elements of Sanathana Dharma, with its ability to truly transcend through the power of words, thoughts and intention. This interview has made me a new subscriber so I look forward to learning/benefiting from more of the videos.

Probably he will understand this fact few years down the lane. Without revealing too much, I would just say he had the opportunity to interview one of the dearest disciples of Mother Goddess. I wish nothing but luck and fortune for this young man doing such an amazing job bringing the holiest and authentic spiritual torchbearers of Bharat.

Being a Maa Tripurasundari upasak , I can relate all the things he has said. But people who are seekers please know that this information is just a tip of an iceberg, and there is lot more which is mind blowing when you start on this path. I can feel that Maa always is protecting, teaching , loving and taking care of me all the time like her child. When you start this journey the thing that most matter is your bhaav(intention), and that's the language understandable by your deity as well, so please have suddh bhavna whenever you people start this practice moreover be a seeker. Much love to Ranveer and Rajarshi for bringing out this information to us all, looking for in-depth conversation in future.

Hrishikesh is the one who has the mastery over his 5 senses
The place Rishikesh (Uttaranchal) signifies it . When all 5 senses are controlled the Amrith / Elexir (Ganga) descends down.
To arrest the further down-flow of the amrith the Neelakant (Blue throat) Mahadev temple is there near Rishikesh.
The 5 senses are represented upstream by Pancha Prayag which merges into jeeva naadi (Sushumna)

    - Rudra
    - Karna

Shiva and Vishnu are just two different expressions of the same Supreme Consciousness. I can really resonate with the part where he says that the version of Krishna which is a teacher, will remove all impurities from your life, so you have nothing left, but to be spiritual. I was always attracted to Lord Krishna, out of any other gods- in Him, I saw a father, a friend, a brother and a teacher. I however ignored that attraction for a long time and dismissed it. But after a difficult breakup, I once just prayed to Him- show me the way, end my suffering, I beg of you. And the very next day, a process of cleansing in my life sort of began, wherein I gradually gave up eating meat and most dairy, smoking, drinking, vaping, watching porn/masturbating, excessive TV watching, etc. Even the people in my life who didn't really belong there, slowly and gradually left And it all felt so natural, as if it was always meant to be this way. I often have tears in my eyes, whenever I have a moment of realisation that He is behind this process. A quote I read once said "Take one step towards Krishna. He will take a thousand towards you"

This video has been uploaded for a couple of days now ,but I was not able to sit through it without something coming up in my mind or my life, but today I totally focused and its amazing nothing came up but the realisations of what I am going through in my real life.

For some Spiritualism takes the higher ground , for some Materialism. And for me Dakshinachara is the path to ultimate Spiritualism and Vamachara is the path through absolution in Materialism.
My most beloved deity is Bajrang Bali , an avatar of Lord Shiva and is perhaps the most powerful too, since Hanumanji faced off Rudra Shiva and absorbed the Trishul . Lord Hanuman I hope is my Kshetrapal 🙏
My most worshipped deity is Shri Krishna , who I worship as Vishwaroopam and hence this form inculcates every God, Goddess and Siddhis in Vedic Upasana as well as all the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu which includes Shri Ram too. Sri Krishna is my Ishwar 🙏
I do not know, if tantra has any place for my path to the divine but I know my worshipped and prayed to deities are strongly aspected by both Guru Vishnu and Guru Shiva.
I draw greatest inspiration from the Ramayan where Shri Ram, the Purushottam avatar of Lord Vishnu befriends Bajrang Bali, the most powerful avatar of Lord Shiva ever to take down staunch followers of Vamachara , Ravan , Kumbhakarna and Indrajit , who all are great devotees of Shiva and Shakti , and possessed ultimate siddhis in this universe.
Just that episode in Ramayana where Shri Ram was going to pluck out his lotus like eye , padmalochan ,to sacrifice it to Devi Durga , thus starting Akal Bodhan of the goddess to make her withdraw the boons to the immoral followers of Vamachara is way too moving.
Akal Bodhan is celebrated as Durga Puja in West Bengal and is definitely the biggest festival for the Bengalis. Shakti is worshipped in Dakshinachara for Akal Bodhan Durga puja.
The other favorite Goddess among Bengalis is Goddess Kali and she is worshipped primarily in Vamachara way by offering animal sacrifice, alcohol and all. I think the Goddess at Dakshineswar temple is Dakshina Kali Bhavatarini , who is the only Kali not worshipped by Vamachara but by Dakshinachara since her prime devotee , the enlightened man Sri RamKrishna Paramhansa did believe in whoever is Krishna is Maa Kali.
I see a lot of Vamachara in my daily life, since West Bengal is kinda hotspot for Shakti upasana but then, being a Brahmin and a Bengali myself , I have chosen Dakshinachara out of reverence for Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva through Sri Krishna and Bajrangbali.
Ranveer's podcasts has been phenomenal in spreading awareness about Vedic philosophies and traditions - its like, all that was lost under mediation of Boddhisatva and subsequent Turkic invasion of Bharat , is being slowly recovered.
I just don't know where to put these realisations anywhere else, whatever Rajarshi ji is saying is all true - yes deities test when beej mantra is used and permission from that deity is to be taken before sankalp and jap , in my case it is Bajrang Bali. Also if Lord Krishna is the ishtha, the Ishwar, he will make his devotee experience the diverse turns of life to raise the wisdom and enlightment to that level where every materialistic gain will lose relevance .
But I know definitely , worshipping my two deities , I am protected eternally - bad phases come and go , but are unsuccessful to affect me adversely and anyone thinking ill of me are prone to create enough mess for themselves to be of any consequence for me.
Rajarshi ji , right from his name, which means Raj Rishi to the stones of pith pokhraj and ruby on his right hand is extremely connected to the divine and wise. Normal people seldom understands such men of wisdom who had been blessed by Divinity to enlighten Earth.
Thank you Ranveer for bringing such a person on - the sheer quality of podcasts on this channel speaks a lot about what task he has been mandated with by the Divine.
    Jai Shri Ram 🚩
    Jai Bajrang Bali 🙏
    Vande Mataram 🇮🇳

Hello Team Ranveer. A magnificent episode! Btw, I come from Chittagong, the port city of Bangladesh, a bangali Hindu Kshatriya who has a Zoroastrian ancestry all the way from Kurdistan. During some of my ongoing discreet research, I had found a lot of similar practices in terms of tradition and culture between these two oldest religions or ways of life. That compels me to believe there must have been a tremendous cultural exchange from a very long time between these two great lands, perhaps these two civilizations. I don't know if it's too much for a request but I believe discussing this topic would be a great reveal for all the listeners, along with the positive impacts and beauty of cultural exchange between people through your great podcast! Nevertheless, we love your podcast as, listening to these is slowly crafting me to be a better human being. Lots of love 🙏❤️😊.

I'm not denying the fact that only Sanatana Dharma is the oldest religion but it's quite possible even the oldest religion can get birth through exchanges of a lot of other ways of life which are also equally old. I'm sure you'll understand if you research about it deeply. It feels like both the religions exchanged their positive knowledge by hugging tightly. Argo, the similarities.

At 11:42 as he says about rishis, I find similar parallels in Chinese daoist philosophy in the system of cultivation. Every cultivator was a normal mortal once and by cultivation they grow closer and closer to the heavenly daos and reach mythical levels of longevity as long as the heavens and earth. As Ranveer says, rishis can be likened to cultivators who use their yoga as a cultivation technique to better themselves by cultivating their soul and spirit throughout their lives to connect to higher levels of truth and reality and rise along that evolution paths. I believe gods of Hinduism were actual cultivators with supernatural spiritual powers who looked god like to normal villagers. Take the Ramayan for example. Lord rams powers can be explained if he was a god cultivator. And same with Ravana and hanuman and any other figure of note in our mythology. Shiva can be likened to a cultivator who has reached such a level that they have transcended the limits of a material reality and a corporeal body. He has reached a stage in his cultivation that he is equal to embodying a LAW like that of destruction or death and as long as that law exists anywhere in any universe then shiva would be its source and cause granting him with extreme powers of causality and longevity for eternity
