Antifa Romania: Actiunea Anti-Fascista fascism has spread so baldy in europe its mind boggling. In general hate is very en vogue today. Its cool to hate christians, muslims and jews. It’s cool to beat down immigrants, and immigrants think its ok to commit atrocities because they suffered. It’s almost comical if not so sad. We have to stop to hate. We have to stop to be so self centered. Me me and me. That’s all we understand.

Guess what, there ARE anti-Islam black metal bands in the middle east, very few people know about them though, they are small, underground, very obscure bands hidden from the mainstream. And from what I've heard, they do write about Jihad against Islam in their lyrics. I don't think they're going to burn down any mosques though, considering they're living in strictly religious countries with insane amounts of oppression. Just the fact that they are able to make black metal there is crazy IMO.

Churches were built over the top of sacred pyramids in Mexico. The biggest of all pyramids in latin america is located in Puebla, "La pirámide de Cholula", it is so shameful to watch the church at a distance and see that we could have a monument of our root culture instead of a symbol for colonialism... Churches and mosques have been built over a lot of holy grounds all over the world. Go figure, the two abrahamic religions spread like wildfire the world over when humanity was weak, and tried to erase all existence of pagan cultures through colonization, mass genocide, destruction of places of worship and erection of their own places of worship.
This 'cultural genocide' as I see it, is happening in my country at present.
One particular issue that seems to trigger people here is the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The story goes that a mosque was built on holy grounds during the period when India was being invaded and ruled by the Mughals. It was recently demolished as we are trying to reclaim what we have lost. People have very conflicting and polarizing opinions on this, but deep down a lot of us know the truth and will continue to fight until we have reclaimed our spiritual heritage.
Varg knew the truth about how his culture was erased, hence took measures into his own hands when the system had clearly failed, and was jailed for 21 years. He took one for the team.

I would argue that Norwegian expansion into England, Scotland, Normandy, and Ireland, is the reason we're all speaking English in our comments here. Norway wasn't some backwater prior to Christanity, it was the dominant military power in Northern Europe for quite some time. Hell, Norwegians settling in Iceland started the worlds oldest democracy (which still functions today) prior to Christianity being introduced.

In the way that christianity was forced upon the original pagan inhabitants of not just Norway but all northern european people? by burning and destroying their sacred places and building their sacrilegious houses of worship on top? Christians with their vaunted 'brotherly love' who destroyed what they couldnt convert by dialogue. also brush up on your Old Norse/Icelandic..lol

I don't see where is the big with the church burning. I mean as long nobody was in danger there was nothing wrong,at all with it. Church is a building, i think it would be way worse if he would burn a house of a poor familly. It was a pretty stupid thing to do because as you said it happened years ago. About the Euronymous part, i don't know if Varg tells the truth or not, but he could just beat him enough to pass out for a while and call the police the next day.

@darijek too true mate. landofrock doesn't know what he's on about. music is a big part of life, it's a way to get your point across because people do 'listen' so to speak. these guys were fighting for the fact that christianity did rape their land, and was forced upon their ancestors. i don't think thats a terrible point to make in a song, do you? because it's goddamn true!

All religions are, as you say, 'living in the past.' Even Christianity started thousands of years ago, and its sheepish followers still follow the doctrine today. Please think before you start wagging your tongue, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it. Thank you.

Every bit of knowledge you possess, or don't possess, is a living and growing culmination of human heritage passed down from the first men. Should you disregard something simple as 2+2=4 just because it became known long before you were born? You don't disregard history; you build on it.

  • @darijek

@herbumorze Well he did. maybe it was in some other context, or maybe he just wrote it being realistic, realized what christianity has done to other religions and cultures and accepted it. i believe there are many christians that are aware of what their religion and her followers had done to mankind, and it is still doing. i'm not saying that he wrote that in anti-christian way, but in realistic and in way of common sense, that i believe.

Hmmmmm, maybe I chose the wrong way to express that last part... I did mean etymologically speaking, rather than a literal translation. If you look at another one of my comments, I go through a brief history of Christianity in Norway... it dates back to about 1000 a.d. facts you can independantly verify yourself on the internet and from books. The Norse religion was ever evolving, probably owing to extensive travel. Sorry I was perceived badly by yourself.
