Honestly this was a really strong analysis of the A sides, I'm not familiar with buddhisms teachings at all so its an angle i never really considered but it lines up well with a decent amount of my own feelings towards celeste and enhances the already incredible story. Celeste is probably the game i've gotten the most emotional with because i struggle so much with my own self worth. Chapter 6 beginning with part of you tearing you down and dragging you back to where you started hurts to see sometimes because I know its something i've done to myself. This game is a beautiful reminder every now and then to be a little more forgiving to the things i've done and to celebrate the progress i've made. I'm looking forward to you finishing the rest of the game, both for the challenges still to come and now because I'm looking forward to your reaction to the little bits of story woven into them.
Nice, I really liked the video! Well thought out essay and cleanly portrayed. If I can give one bit of constructive criticism, I think the four-and-a-half minute intro of just pure gameplay was a bit long, especially since we're here to see what YOU have to say about the game!
I absolutely love celeste and its one of those games that I think about often, especially how playing it changed the way that i deal with 'failure' but I never would have thought to examine it from a Buddhist perspective. Thank you for putting this out, I really enjoyed the points you made. Though I will say I almost clicked off of it when it was just gameplay for the first large chunk of the video. You give really thoughtful points, clearly do your research and you present everything a really structured and easily digestible manner, but in the future maybe try to be more cognizant about hooking your audience early and engaging them, putting your best foot forward as early as possible. All in all this was a treat to listen to! Youve got another subscriber and I look forward to your future videos!
@@zacsadler5887 your feedback is really appreciated, this was my first time ever making a video essay so I’m looking for ways to improve! I absolutely loved making this, and I want videos like these to be even better in the future’

Honestly great feedback, I am more than open to any criticism on the video since it is my first time doing it! Hoping to make another over Christmas!
