What a cruel world we live in. As a man, I hate it when people use patriarchy as excuse for their shortcomings these days. They use it like a buzzword, without knowing in the slightest that how worse actual patriarchy is. So worse that it will take your life if you stand against it. So worse that it's not safe for men either. I wish the people of the old days, were not as selfish and power hungry, I wish we had better people who genuinely cared about the law and actually protected those who needed protecting. There's good in this world, but not enough to have us rid of these stains.

This is so messed up man! I hail from Pakistan and I have traveled numerous times to the beautiful North of Pakistan but that Western province of Pakistan KPK, which also includes Kohistan, is the worst place for a woman to be born and live. I would also like to add that KPK has a rlly long historical ties with the Afghan region as Afghan tribes were scattered all over the place. When Talibans came into power and started terrorizing Pakistan, KPK was badly hit and Talibans used to literally control many regions of KPK excluding Peshawer, its capital, and that mindset still persists and the worst thing is it is all coordinated with the govt of Pakistan.

One small detail you left is how Afzal’s location was detected by his murderers. There is a detailed documentary by Vice which gave away his location leading to him losing his life. Check it up.
amazing experience whether it is a podcast or youtube video you guys brings out the most realistic experience for us and yes afzal was a great guy though he came from the same place where women are treated very low and were killed in the name of honour killing he was different he was the only MAN out there in this whole story, till his end he fought for those girls and died without justice he deserved better he deserves not only justice but also respect.
Amazing! So, so, so, GOOD! Wow. I'm ready for episode 2
I love the effort your team puts into these cases. I recently discovered this channel and watched the video on the Balaji temple. I love how you two accurately covered this case! I would like to add that as a Pakistani woman/girl who has faced her fair share of sexism, all of this is accurate. Quite alot has changed since this case especially in urban areas however cases of honor killings in rural areas by uneducated families take place each year.
Keep doing a great job!
I feel so sad with Afzal, may he rest in peace.
Aaaaaa cant f wait, this gonna be my fav crime podcast channel on yt cgjkk ☠️💖
I just wanna ask did you guy recorded whole video and podcast again or this was already prerecorded
By the way love your podcast and looking forward to your youtube videos
What a cruel world we live in. As a man, I hate it when people use patriarchy as excuse for their shortcomings these days.
They use it like a buzzword, without knowing in the slightest that how worse actual patriarchy is. So worse that it will take your life if you stand against it. So worse that it's not safe for men either.
I wish the people of the old days, were not as selfish and power hungry, I wish we had better people who genuinely cared about the law and actually protected those who needed protecting.
There's good in this world, but not enough to have us rid of these stains.
Well said💯
It was a treat listening to your voices and the way you guys covered the case was just amazing..♥️

Love this new format 💙
My friend told me about this story today and I’m amazed this video popped up out of nowhere in my suggestions.
I got tears in my eyes am just speechless i am Pakistani and i am going through all these type of injust red flags of Pakistan and fighting a fake case in high court of Pakistan am a doctor but not complete because of the agencies of pakistan my passport is blocked and i was studying abroad before coming to pakistan .
You should definitely cover the Khairlanji Massacre as well.
I was very young when this was happening. And now watching this, it all came back to me. I never understood how men policed women even when i was young. Honestly i never knew Afzal was killed, tho i remember seeing him on news. Pakistan is such a disappointment. It hurts me. Because i know that there are good Pakistanis like me and the people i know how are innocent, naive. Who just want to live and be free. But sadly slaves are never bound to deserve both.
Please pray for Pakistan ❤
Had been waiting for this since late September, since the announcment. I'm late but watching you Aryan and Aishwarya is great ✨🙌❣️

The people who have the honor killing mindset need to ask themselves where is the honor in honor killing? Its like they read the religous texts upside down
guys u have to understand this is not ISLAMIC TRADITION (People try to defame islam by these things)
these are the customs of tribal people although they are muslims but islam doesn't allow this
Nah
@@coldestballs3743 what do you knwo about islamic laws. These idrologies of oppressing eoman are more likely a part of their local traditions rather than Islamic laws. These have their own traditional and cultural values in which they think masculinity has a link with freedom of women. This has no link with religion it's just their ideology and mentality.
Fascinating! Thank you!
Loving your podcast and than this is a treat for us thanks both of you ❤️🖤
