The guy on the right goes to shake the winners hand and never even acknowledges Gaur. The winner takes the hand shake, and avoids making eye contact with him as well. When the show cuts to the commercial break, Alex can be seen walking directly up to Gaur, not to the 1st place contestant or 2nd place contestant...that makes Gaur the winner. Good stuff.
Lol man hes the winner. You know the amount of publicity he got from this. But honestly this is the first time I can say that I have ever gotten emotional. Hearing him fight the emotions
Bob Barker is also a strong contender for that title but time is slowly but surely catching up with him too. He's pushing near 100 years old. If he makes it to December, he will be 100.
You know - what's funny is - I feel as though the show is quite a cycle. NOT just in how it builds its questions, but in how it answers our own. I will miss his albeit not often used sense of humor. We miss you.
That such a simple message made him so emotional proves how must this show and fans of Jeopardy meant to Alex. It’s true. We love you forever, Alex! 🙌🏾
Well, Jeopardy contestants seem to be typically strange and socially awkward people, so I’m not surprised they didn’t show any emotion after that, lol.
@@drae408 That seems pretty unfair to say. We don't know how they interacted afterwards, and to me it looked like the guy on the right was trying to keep himself together (just like Alex was). Judging them for not acting how you think they should on live TV is peak RUclips comments section. For all we know they all started bawling when the cameras stopped.
I hope to see this man on some morning show somewhere. He deserves some serious airtime in this crazy world. What a selfless act, and I know that Alex will never forget that.
@Jamie Kinthaert no, that would take away the focus on Alex. He didn't do it for himself, he did it for Alex.. Shows you how genuine he is if that's the case. He lost anyways, even if he wagered 2k so why showboat?
I started watching Jeopardy when I was a teenager in the 80's and would watch it every day when I got home from school. I still watch it regularily today. Alex seems almost like a family member even though we've never met. He will be dearly missed when that day comes and nobody will be able to replace him. That will be the end of the show.
So apart of the family and so much class. We all can be replaced in jobs, but Alex the man is irreplaceable. I want his soul to know that we love him, appreciate him and beg God to heal his body, amd save his soul.
@@exclamationpointman3852 No I would definitely disagree with you there. Maybe you could easily be replaced at your burger flipping job. But Alex Trebek is Jeopardy. It's more than just talking to the guests and telling them whether or not they got the answer correct, it's his personality and extensive knowledge base and allow him to make interesting anecdotal references and commentary on why the contestant chose the answer they did.

They’re asshole who are fucking money hungry nerds who take this show way to serious.. I hope they are jealous of how much attention the middle guy is having while not a single person pays any attention to them. Fuck thoes assholes
Alex may be losing his battle, but he left an indelible, honorable mark on his craft and taught us all to be strong in the face of imminent doom. He has not slowed one bit, and we all know he very well could have folded his hand and withered away out of the public eye. Such strength he displays. Won't soon forget him after he gracefully passes. Bravo to middle contestant.
The other 2 worship money, the man in the middle must have been raised so right with the value of love and kindness to your brethren. The Most High is strong in him
Uhh, how do they worship money? Because they played the game they got on the show to do and a contestant who had no way of winning is some spiritually annointed saint and was raised with blah blah blah because he chose to show Alex love?
