  • One Day at a Time aired on CBS from December 16, 1975, to May 28, 1984. It revolved around a divorced mother, Ann Romano, who moves herself and her teenage daughters, rebellious Julie and wisecracking Barbara, from their home in small town Indiana to an apartment building in the big city of Indianapolis. Ann struggles with maintaining her role as mother while also affording her daughters the freedom she never had as a young woman and Schneider, the building superintendent, is always there with unwanted advice to the tenants. But what happened to the cast after the show ended?

I suppose this was kept family-friendly for a reason and I respect that, but those girls, especially McKenzie Phillips, went through some extremely hard times in their personal lives. How McKenzie was able to forgive her father is a testament to her character. I'm not sure I could have in her place. That guy was evil.

What you didn’t mention is that Valarie Bertineli had her own cooking show on the Food Network which just ended this year! You also didn’t mention neither that she eventually remarried and, had gotten a divorce last year!
