Boluwatiwi Ogunye i bought them in the end in the size up from my usual as I was worried about the thighs as well and they fit nicely! And the waist is still a nice comfortable fit

that's such a good idea, thank you!! there's a couple of one brand jeans guides I'd like to do first and I have a few other fashion videos in the pipeline too, but once I've done those I'll definitely get cracking on a high-waisted guide. I want to try on as many as possible to make sure I'm recommending the absolute best ones so it may take a little while to put together but I'll definitely do it!

Im normally size 24 in Levis wedgie, so kinda struggling which size would fit me well.
with weekday jeans always downsize if u can bc they tend to get bigger!

hi gorge, I don't know my measurements off the top of my head but im usually a 25 waist everywhere (which is a uk size 6), and I found weekday to be pretty true to size! hope that's helpful! so so glad you liked the vid though 💖💖

whats wrong with stretch denim, its the beeest. I hate non-strecthy denim, they fit so bad on me
Some people absolutely love it, I'm just not the hugest fan myself! I think mainly because I'm not the biggest fan of skinnies. I love my denim to be nice and thick, and in looser, vintage-y vibe cuts, plus I tend to find it ages a lot nicer. But that's just my preference, different strokes for different folks ☺️✌️ xx
Sometimes if theyre too stretchy they dont last a very long time. Or they stretch out and look saggy and unflattering. Im definitely a fan of tougher denim.
ps. I do find that with non-stretch there's definitely a breaking in period if you want a good fit, which can be a pain in the ass (literally, lol) but after they're broken in they're honestly such a dream 💖

weekday is confusing as shit cus they look so horrible and totally different colours, also the sizing is a mess. i tried many line ones in store and sometimes 25 is too huge sometimes too small. sometimes 30 length in blue is too long but in black its fine. also theyre so uncomfortable u cant bend or sit in them
argh no, gutted you didn't love them babe! when jeans are 100% cotton they often have a breaking in period, so they'll be super stiff to start with but they will soften up with wear and mould to your body shape. just a heads up as 100% cotton is my faveeeee but I can see how you might hate them if you didn't know that! 💖💖
