Agreed, I had it on a 12” single extended mix when released. Beautiful sound on a decent deck through Studio-craft speakers. Oh Yeah! I always liked it when Roxy Music extended their intros with some subtle groove or other (Bogus Man, Sentimental Fool etc) Here Mr Ferry puts some simple, haunting lyrics over such a groovy groove. Excellent, evocative & all the musicians with their heads and hearts fully in the game. Doesn’t get much better. Thanks for the thrill of it all Bryan, keep on keepin’ on!👍🫶
Świetny Muzyk i wokalista światowego formatu nawet w starszym wieku ma piękny głos i to coś co wielu młodym brak kultura i pewność siebie buziaki wracaj Bryjan do Polski 👍♥️🙂
My company Astoria Communications Inc. did the Live camera work for this production. Issac Ferry came up with the Black and White concept and it looked beautiful. Bryan's son Issac Ferry was a pleasure to work with and We are glad he chose our video production to post on to RUclips.. The show was recorded in color but it was displayed for the audience in Black and White. I set my record levels high on my recording mixer. That's why it sounds loud. It was one of the greatest shows I've ever worked because I am a fan of The Gentleman of Rock and Roll, The Father of the New Wave/New Romantic Era. BRYAN FERRY! (Camera 1 ) James Hoffer (Camera 2) Frank Regosa (Camera 3) Issac Ferry (Bryan Ferry's son) (Technical Director) Hector Arocho (Recording engineer/ Video Tech/Camera Shader) Roman Castillo
He is a national treasure here in the UK. Awarded an honour by the Queen and was voted most sexist man by women in UK even in his 50s. A true style icon here still. I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan in 2015 he was so humble and polite to make time to speak to me for a moment..I was amazed that only 15-20 mins earlier he was drenched in sweat after performing Jealous Guy and Do The Strand, and yet came out back stage hair immaculate with his overcoat on looking like an aristocratic gentleman off for a meal..that's Bryan Ferry lol. I have seen him perform live several times always front row once as a VIP guest in 2013. Seeing him perform up close is just an astonishing experience. He so talented a singer song-writer and performer and seems to get better with age. If you ever chance to see him, go! It's the experience of a lifetime. I became an instant fan of Roxy Music aged just 8 after hearing Dance Away on the radio, I had never heard a voice or band quite like it...then 1982 Jealous Guy the video and Lennon tribute which gave Roxy their first no1 hit was astonishing the blue silk suit and up close camera work made a real statement...that ushered in a whole era in UK with the New Romantics bands like Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.
I never thought I'd have a chance to see BF live. But last night it happened. Lived up to and surpassed my lofty expectations, feet nowhere near the ground today, bravo!!
I am In awe of the fans that feel as i do with bryan ferry....I .cannot remember how far I go back to loving his music...so sensual..no other way to describe..except love it
Wonderful lighting, setting the mood for Wasteland/Windswept! My late husband, Rodney, introduced me to Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry on November 8,1975. I've been a fan since. His background was Theatre with emphasis in the technical lightning, sound, costume design & set design. This would of been his style of light design. Thank you for posting. ❤❤❤
I like this arrangement, with the haunting sax line updated from the synthesizer days, and it's always wonderful to see Fonzie and is that Tawatha as supporting singers. But the version he does on the Bete Noir tour (also on youtube) with Yanick Etienne, Ednah Holt and Michelle Cobbs as the singers is just incredible. He and Michelle have an electricity when singing together that just adds another dimension. And I admit I love the synthesizer line, even if I guess it's dated.
To see and listen to this video tears me apart. I've gone solo to two of his concerts in the last 10 years and paid a good chunk of money for my seat in hopes that he would perform my absolute favorite song. Yes, this one. And nothing. Though, he did perform Jealous Guy and other covers Windswept was not on the set list, I guess. Last July it was mostly Roxy Music fans at our Toronto show and, though, I love RM, I really hoped for this one. I don't know if it's only reserved for UK shows and some in the U.S... But there is a die-hard fan in Toronto, ON. Canada who never had the chance to experience the Bête Noire concert in '88-'89 who went home in tears July 30/19. :'( Thank you for your beautiful music Mr. Ferry.
London, ON fan here!…have never had the pleasure of seeing him live but hopefully one day! I have 3-4 of his albums and can’t wait till he goes on tour again! Covid can eff off anytime now!
this is so perfect it's hard to believe this is live-----the bands today can't sound this good with their studio versions of their songs---- but Mr. Ferry has always been a cut above***
Wonderful, exactly as I hoped that song would sound on this tour. Just as delicate, pulsating and sensual as ever. Gosh, I miss this band. Looking very much forward to seeing them again soon. :)
Thank you so much for this beautiful video. It is like a scene from an old romantical Hollywood movie! So emotional and sensual, like the greatest romanticist of the music scene himself - the one and only Mr.Bryan Ferry. And that´s - why we love him so much!
This is good. This should be brought out on DVD, with on the B side a similar murky like DVD of the Mamouna tour. Just a tip. A forcefully shout out tip, though.. This must be captured. Great atmosphere. Important also: the fine delicate voice of the Cool Ruler can be heard upfront and isn't overshadowed by the live sound of he band and backing vocal singers. This is the way!
Bryan's new hair style looks like he's just been napping on a pillow on his private jet and rushed on stage, and yet he still looks ultra cool...Iol My friend in Florida was at one of his shows in Florida a lifelong fan. She met him at his hotel thanks to some help from one of his backing singers.
Has anyone bothered to comment how awesome Quist's lead is in this version or the fact that he's right handed, playing a left handed Fender Strat strung in reverse order?
After more than 30 years, a live version of this ‘old’ song ruclips.net/video/2XUmjaOFI3o/видео.html has even more charisma to prove (if that was necessary) Bryan’s talent, genius and class. A lifetime of achievements and only in 2019 someone remembered to induce him in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I think the brits should build a museum just for this guy alone...
Dont worry ..we wont make it..dont need no help ..thanks cant take it..and they 'll always put the weapons of troubles among us..and Your concious will never cross the line that leads there I'll at theend find fields of lillies instaad You...I wanted to giveaway ..and Your smile I'll guess Ever find on the pearl island in the shaddow of wondertree while my hand in the sand that ccvers the ring find breeze as the only breath from the distant faraway lands reminding on frozen wings of an angel we lost waiting for the better days.Could You be more beautiful across the silent horizont Ever than that day I realize the dream was just the dream

sounding fantastic ! the Boys & Girls album is just a masterpiece...
Bryan is a masterpiece in his own right.
@@surfleetsurfer6370 My mom adored him haha
this is one of the most beautifully ethereal of his songs, and that is really saying something.

Well done!!!
You did a fantastic job, I love the black and white video and camera work.
Outstanding lighting and sound. Thank you for your expertise.
The guitar solo is a masterpiece, originally played by Dave Gilmour. This guy is doing it justice ...
So so beautiful and romantic and old time love!
This guy should be declared a national treasure in England! This performance by all participants is mature, beautiful and eloquently presented.

Deliciously intoxicating!
Black & White tones enhance the mood of this song & brilliant performance! Thanks, Carla
