Bro do you play Enshrouded? With your creativity you could make some amazing things. It’s the best game for building I’ve ever played, and the gameplay and world are pretty fucking awesome too.
Edit) just read you’re an architect. You must play Enshrouded, you have so much more freedom build-wise than grounded. You can build a whole ass Hobbiton if you want, or tree houses, absolutely anything.
I have played it and will definitely be streaming it at some point just want to finish up these grounded builds then I’ll start expanding to other building games
@@TimberBuildsnice! This is the first of your videos I’ve ever watched and Holy Shit these are amazing structures you’ve made.
@@TimberBuildsalso, Sons of the Forest is amazing for free form building. And the game itself is super addictive, great graphics and story.
@@nerdoutreachprogram5358 thank you :) I build in just about any game I can so I’m hoping to get into other games soon! Just haven’t been able to put grounded down ha
5:00 in, what is that little bug flying around?
It’s the handygnat you can unlock it with custom settings or once you get to new game + 1 it’s automatically added to your game and is accessed in the building wheel.
Never have to much homie
How can i use that gnat? It would be much helpfull to build my bases
There’s two ways you can’t unlock it, first is to get to new game +1 and it’s automatically enabled, if you aren’t that far yet then you can change your game to custom and turn it on, but you lose out on achievements from doing this.
@@TimberBuilds Thanks a lot! I guess I'll rush the bosses so that i can get to ng+1
@@Fingfog only thing I’d be careful of if you want things like gold cards is they get slot harder to get in NG+
should I resort to building bases once I 100% grounded so I still have stuff to do
I like to build bases specifically because it extends the playthrough. i tend to like to do it while I'm progressing/getting 100% to fill time so i dont just blow through the story super fast.
@@TimberBuilds make sure you give us the code!
@@stickmanshenanigians if I do build in playgrounds it’ll all be streamed! So everyone will get the code as well
step one, turn on creative. the sheer amount of stone smashing to build this things lol
How do you manage to defend something this big from raids?
@@adamanteumn2981 for a long time the pagoda base was fully defend by shear will power hahahaha and by not attack wasps or mosquitoes everything wise couldn’t attack the pagoda base only flying huge bit once I started the sandbox build since it’s not really a base but a building expo lol I turned raids off in custom settings as at a certain point mainly being new game + the infuser bugs ruin raids for me. Before new game + it’s not that hard to defend bases just have to repair things they break here and there.
@@TimberBuilds I'm fairly new to the game, so still learning. By not attacking certain insects, you can ensure they won't raid you?
idk how you get a base like this I cant even place doors in a triangle shape the way i want 😭
@@k.r.9365 lots of practice hahaha really just takes time to learn how the blocks work together and experiment with things
Where can i find that axe?!?!?
Guessing you are asking about the battle axes, they are unlocked in new Game + and purchased form the ASL terminal at field stations for Raw science.
you cant be a fly in vanilla can you? like vanilla meaning not creative
@@k.r.9365 you can once you get to New Game +1 it’s automatically unlocked then otherwise it’s a custom setting
@@TimberBuildsthanks for answering so fast😁🤝
Dude has 4k sprigs 😂
@@starfighter1043 dang getting low!
How do you deal with raids lol
@@stevemorency1315 for a long time it was rough so I just didn’t fight mosquitoes or wasps but eventually once I started the sandbox build I turned raids off!
@@TimberBuilds i get you - does it feel like the game is cheapened with it off ?
@@stevemorency1315 not even alittle! After you’ve dealt with 50+ raids they are just annoying. I like it till I started really farming gold cards since you could avoid them but once you get gold card hunting you just piss everything off endlessly so it’s really just dumb to keep it on. And in NG+ it’s just self mutilation to keep it on ha one infused wasp will blow up
A whole base!
@@TimberBuilds i actually just delt with exactly that lol one one hand i happened to need their parts so that was good. On the other it took me a game day to repair lol. I can see both sides for sure.
@@stevemorency1315 yeah it’s all personal! If I had a normal base it’s really not bad but the tall towers become near impossible to defend at this point but I’m not really building for functionality at this point lol
I feel like the worst builder right now 😂
@@Chrisrockt724 it takes time to get good have over 2500 hours in grounded and an architectural background and my first base was horrible haha
Créatif mdr
I would love a tour of the base in the picture of the video before you click play😂, I’ve checked your page and can’t find it, that ones my favorite
There’s a lot of livestream videos of the entire build but I do need to a tour of the whole sandbox build soon
Yea I’m pretty new, imma have to check them out, you on discord or twitch platforms? I feel you should have way more subs, content is great
@@kylebean5456 MY discord is in my youtube bio and i have stream on twitch along with youtube a few times its just timberbuilds as well.
Were you controlling a damn fly? How???
@@SisyphusOfSodom that is the handy gnat you can turn it on by switching to a custom game or it is automatically enabled once you reach new game +1
Do you have a problem with object limit? I started building a castle and the object limit is halfway through..
You can turn it off.
