Hard to counter no but i dont get why people are crying over respawn calling it "inaccessible" because the truth is that it very much is. Most of this community are peobably casual console players like most games.
I tried this with max speed ALC settings on console and got it once in my 2 hour practise session. I dont recommend trying to learn this on controller. You would have to play with unplayable sensitivity and the trick is near impossible to pull off on controller anyways.
@@angeldxst if you didn't do it in your testing, on top of turning up both the yaw/pitch-extra yaw/pitch, drop the ramp up and delay values to zero to allow the extra input to execute immediately. Then I would recommend turning down the response curve to nearly 0, if not entirely off. Yes, your aim will drift a bit if you're not actively controlling it, but just for the purposes of testing, I'd do it anyway. Response curve handles how twitchy your aim is, or in other words, how fast your input will actually input. Linear Response curves remove the acceleration from your controller, so as soon as you start to input, it will go straight to the maximum speed. It's basically making the controller act the same way a mouse does. Your input is either on, or it's off, not slowly increasing until full. The standard response curve will prevent your input from going at max speed from the start, which could be affecting your ability to execute this. I'm not gonna lie, I'm currently at max myself with everything else already turned off like I said (I basically play like this anyway) it probably won't work, but if there's a chance of it working, linear response is probably the best bet for this tech.
I hit crazy stuff like this off zip lines semi often because I’m twitchy and love spinning around the zip as I get on and get off- super glad to see a video explaining how the mechanic works!

Im a controller player on pc and i wanted to to that kinf ofmoves, i've never cumplain about keyboard. so i make the configuration to get more movement losing the aim assist, but men if they made another Cod i'll go off. I think a lot of controllers like me are like me, it's respawn not us at all
You can add a trap strafe off the end of it to center yourself and gain full forwards momentum, since how vectoring works with diagonal direction change.

im fairly certain zipline super jump is pressing jump twice within the .2 seconds of coyote time you get after leaving the ground. so you grab zipline > jump off zipline > jump again within the .2 seconds to get a second jump off the "ground" so if you trust that science and wanted to be precise about the timing it would be get 2 jump inputs in before 200ms of leaving the ground oh also the cvar for this mechanic is called "jump_graceperiod"
I really wish we could load private matches to just go in and use the actual map. I'm on PS4 and I've been trying to do this with maxed out linear response curve sensitivity (Which is just my regular sensitivity lmao) and I Think it's possible but I can't really tell because hitting that roof in the clip is the only real way I can tell it's successful or not. And there's no way I'm gonna get to go to that building without getting shot up in a real game. Everything about this tech feels familiar, but I can't put my finger on why :/

@@Will-ke7cj That's the problem is that I can't really tell the height. I used that vertical zip but to get boost I thought might be the correct one I had to basically start the rotation early, I'd slide hop onto the zip and already be turning before I caught and released. It's definitely not practical or reliable even if it's doable, having to start the spin early means an almost random launch off and you'd have to Jack your sens up regardless. I've since dropped mine well back down from what I was at because I could track people up close but at distances it was just too twitchy.
weren't a lot of people doing this anyway? faide has been doing it accidentally for a while cause i remember seeing him 180 so quickly on zip buildings with extra height and i spent some time in firing range trying to get the 180s down
@@CurbsideT ye but I know he’s done it before cause I’ve specifically gone into firing range after seeing faide or hollow do it to practise it. This was about 3 months ago. If someone went back and looked at all faide videos they would find multiple instances where he does it. Not sure why anyone would care that much tho.

Scroll through reddit and you'll see a bunch of room temp IQ nincompoops call tap strafing an "exploit" that gave PC players an unfair advantage and beg respawn to remove it. Those console complain bots are destroying the skill gap in this game so that they can aim assist everyone to death. There are a good amount of chill console players though, but OP wasn't talking about them. He did say "some" console players not all. If you aren't in the some category, no need to get triggered.

as a controller player even on pc i would recommend instead of removing techniques it would be more preferable if they made them more accessible for controllers. Yeah it might reduce "the skill gap" but controller players have no option to "skill". I would rather the movement tech to cater to noobs than removed, besides each play should be dependent upon the players creativity, game awareness and decision making to outplay an opponent, not abuse a tech. Skill is not really depended on your key bindings. Give the sources to everyone and let the best prevail.

even after tomorrows patch There is a way to still scroll wheel tap strafe. It works a little differently and is arguably worse but depending on you you use it it will require less mouse flicks, hoping to drop a clip of it this week.

When you say max speed do you mean the normal value AND the extra turning value is at full whack or just the normal value?
