Your passion for Chinese history puts such a smile on my face. I have rarely seen anyone, let alone foreigners, go to these historical locations off the beaten path. Even most Beijingers are not aware. Kudos for seeking out history, living it, and sharing it with everyone else!
You know, in one of my earliest videos I said that I didn't quite know the city I considered my second home, and so I've been using these videos as a way to first educate myself on Beijing's history (and China's in the larger sense) and check out what the city has to offer beyond the obvious options. @@longinchinaThere’s also an old tower 玲珑塔 in a park at line 10 慈寿寺 station. Similar with this one, not many people knows. I‘ve passed 天宁寺桥 on 2nd ring road many many times but never been inside the temple.😂
