@@ResaleBrothers okay I saw the Michigan gear and thought maybe you were in MI. Thank you for great content guys! I’ve been reselling for about 3 years now but have not put my all into it I’m starting back up to try to get things listed everyday. I have a full time job and a super busy life so I’m trying to make it more of a priority!
Yeah we’re just Michigan football fans! And yeah it’s definitely tough to find time when you have another job, but like you said if you make it a priority you can definitely improve everyday! Even if it’s just a little bit. Small improvements are still improvements!
Hello guys, thank you for putting the video together. I have a question I am new at eBay and I want to start selling. I was trying to/ focusing on drop shipping to avoid holding inventory and dealing with shipping expense. However, I do realize the ideal business should be you buying in bulk and re-sell. My problem comes at the time of shipping, how do you handle the shipping expenses? Let’s have this scenario: let’s say that I buy 100 table lamps from my supplier (Alibaba) and I list them for 25 my product cost was 6.5 per unit. After eBay fees my residual is 15, then I have to deal with the shipping , which I have notices thar it takes a big chunk of my profits even makes me go negative. How do you get cheaper shipping? I was thinking on charging but then that will discourage buyers.
Great question, We always price comp our shipping with UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc. Sometimes pirate ship has better prices as well. But we charge shipping on all of our items. We do combine shipping for when the customer buys more than one item. Drop shipping is great for larger items with high shipping cost. Maybe try selling a smaller product that will have lower shipping costs. Under 15oz is the ideal weight for cheaper shipping.
Just found your channel. I see the Michigan sweatshirt so does that mean you are in MI? You find a lot of great items. I am here in Columbus, Ohio and thrifting has become horrendous as in finding good items because the thrift stores here pull most of the good items to sell for themselves or they raise the price to what it would sell for on Ebay. They even go through all of the items at the Goodwill Outlet (bins) now. You two are lucky to be able to find all those great items.
We are located in Ohio as well but we have to drive all over the place to source all of the items that we need. I think getting a route of stores that we go to regularly and can get in and out quickly helps us a lot.
@@ResaleBrothers Yep! That's me lol. I subscribed to you guys too. I haven't posted in quite a while but I keep telling myself I will eventually haha! Glad to see fellow resellers killing it! Great job, guys!

What is your average cost of goods?
Normally at a traditional thrift our average COGs is around $5-$6. If we buy new items that are discounted from a retail store it can be $10-$12
