Great content! Can you tell me what happened to JAX secondary? Antonio Johnson's usage was solid until now, but in this game he played 32% of snaps. Is he droppable or do we expect more snaps for him moving forward? Thanks!
Thanks! Yeah, I just finished noting that one in the IDP Report for this week. Johnson was relegated to a backup safety role behind Darnell Savage and Andre Cisco and they let Jarrian Jones be the nickel, which was where Savage was playing before. Seems like it could be something they’ll try out for a bit. I wouldn’t start Johnson next week because of it. We’ll just wait and see if it sticks
I still have Pace ranked highest of that group this week. Fine to make that change for one of those guys next week if it looks like Cashman will be back. Allen and AVG are going to be close for me all year so fine to lean the edge guy there and go AVG
I’d probably still hold McDonald for now just based on his play and we know kind of what to expect from him where there’s a chance Reddick is eased back in and maybe doesn’t quite look the same being away for so long

It’s not a bad move at all. JHA just isn’t producting right now and they’re both similar enough that I’m fine to ride the hotter hand in this situations. I’d also rank Dean over Okereke RoS…speaking of guys who aren’t producing, Bobby O just hasn’t been efficient at all so fine to trust most full-time guys over him

In order) I’m getting mopped this week, Help! 2nd question I have Quay Walker, Terrell Bernard and Cody Barton. I normally like to start a greendot LB at IDP for the volume floor pace is still available on wavier should I target him with quay out even though it’s just a concussion. Or just ride it out with Bernard and Barton. Thanks for any input!
I think you’re solid at CB. Taylor is playing more of the nickel role but with Adebo out he should get a larger role to help with that. Johnson also a strong option. I think it’s going to depend on Cashman’s availability because if Quay and him both miss next game then Pace is a better option but I don’t think it’s a long-term answer so Bernard/Barton are perfectly fine LBs to roll with in the meantime
Right. Yeah, sorry if that was unclear. I’d be fine dropping Adebo now. CB production is so unstable year to year anyways and it’s such a deep position that I’d rather use a keeper pick on a more valuable player/position at the end of the season

Although Strnad put up much better numbers than Alexander but still Is this something to be worried about moving forward for Strnad Owners?
Yeah, I almost included this one but since it happened on Thursday I left it out. Kwon played more in the first half than Strnad who played much more in the second half. Worked out ok for Strnad this time but definitely something to keep an eye on this week since it hurt Strnad’s usage and probably going to push his value down a bit more in future weeks if it continues

Yeah, fine to make the swap there. Bryant played mostly deep for Seattle but was really productive so that was nice. Just might be more inconsistent for as long as Jenkins is out. Curl, Lake, Hamlin, Williams, Bryant

Yeah, poor production from Dodson which is a bummer. That should even out as the season goes on just based on his playing time alone. Kyzir got injured last game but feel he’ll be fine going forward as well. RoS ranks: White, Dean, Dodson, Cashman (based on injury), and then Wallace and Strnad because Wallace might not be full-time when Jewell is back, and Strnad isn’t full-time right now

Mapu’s usage remained about the same as it’s been. Jags haven’t been giving up a ton of tackles to opposing safeties this season so figured only one of he or Dugger would have a good game. Will be better matchups for him. I’d probably prefer Curl or Elliott over Lake rn. Whichever you like best. Both are solid options

@lujr2225 worth a pickup. I just don’t know if I’d start him unless you’re desperate. These Rams LB roles haven’t been full-time recently so doubt it would be for a guy who hasn’t played this season. Also, risk of Jake Hummel or someone like that playing
Just depends on who you’re dropping them for. Mosley is working back from injury and hasn’t been playing full-time snaps the last two games but has a chance to get there. Okereke has definitely been ineffective on a 100% snap share so fine to swap one/both for other full-time options
I think with Cashman back we’ll have to temper expectations with Pace again just because Brian Flores does not deploy two full-time LBs and that second spot will fluctuate quite a bit based on matchup so Pace probably only going to have value in deeper leagues. Mapu should be a fine safety option still. Was a poor matchup this week but usage was solid so fine to ride with him for a bit longer.
The optimal opponent chart has been letting me down lol. Quincy this week and Spillane last did jack shit against Pittsburgh. Spillane is starting to look lost out there past few weeks. Process over results though! I’m gonna keep using the charts of course. 🤎🤎🤎🤎
I hear ya. The charts aren’t going to be bulletproof since so much of it depends on the offense and how they function. With Pittsburgh, specifically, we saw Fields falter in his last start which brought down the offense some and then an entirely new and different type of QB replaced him this week so definitely can expect some change there. It’s why I like to also include the past three games data in the chart I put out on Twitter, to better get a feel for the overall numbers as well. Hope it works out going forward!
